    DS Fat into DSi Lite replacement shells, is it even possible?

    I can't find any Ds Fat shell replacement on ebay or anywhere else... Only Ds Lite and up shells are plenty... From this the ominous idea to try to squeeze my original DS Fat into a Lite shell... Only the Hinge broke down... battery was replaced years ago but still holds it... And DosBox86...

    Is it possible the opposite??? Put a Fat into a Lite shell??? Original DS FAt shells are almost imposiible to source in 2023... My hinge cracked so many years ago, it has been taped ever since... I really wanted to fix it but no Love for my Fat :cry:

    Do you have a working link for the DS FAT shells?? It's pretty impossible to find one on Ebay in 2023... I can find lots of DS lite shells though, I don't know it the Fat can be housed in a Lite shell...
