i dont think i can make it work though without replacing the CPU/APU which would be impossible without an IC soldering station, cause that one pad is wasted. idk if i should try scratching the dye on the CPU but i know that can mess it up totally from the PS3 era lol

do you believe there's a chance that my install will work if i put a cap back on, again i have to point out that one padding is missing? taking into equation that i have a cpu solder point issues specifically though it doesn't matter tho

I'm using irfhs8342. I ordered a batch from aliexpress and it took quite some time. It's a V2 switch which is probably obvious to someone who did 13 installs lol. the last pic i provided is from the internet just for the reference. mine wasn't any worse, but deslodering and resoldering messed...

before i solder everything else back, take pics and edit them just wanna make it clear that i don't have a soldering point on the CPU that's necessary for glitching. the point im talking about is in the pic attached. i removed this cap, cause if you don't do that it just shorts with a single...

it's booting into OFW and runs games, but i broke off the pad that's used for the mosfet. i went with a single mosfet install and that cap needed to be removed, cause otherwise it's shorted

I broke the pad off the CPU, where the cap used to be. I assume there's no alternate soldering point for this, but i'm still asking?

I installed everything and double checked for shorts or any other damage, but everything seems fine. However when i turn on my console it just boots up normaly. No LED indicators except a bleak green and red lights. I'm pretty sure it's something to do with the firmware cause im using Seeed...

yeah, but where im at it seems that i'll have to wait at least until june. i'll try an other mosfet and let y'all know what happened. ik its probably wiser to order and wait for it, but from the info i gathered it seems that as long as the specs are similar or lower you're all good. if i mess up...

gonna sound like a total pleb, but can i use some other mosfet? i'd have to wait for months for IRFHS8342 to arrive. can i use AON7826 for example? or any other?
