    WIFI Nite is BACK!!

I had no idea Kaillera even existed! AWESOME!! I'll have to get my rig set up again and take part... networked Super Smash Brothers sounds too darn tempting to pass up. Might have to get in on the WiFi nights too

    Rominator v5.1

Same here. Running Xubuntu 7.10, so maybe I'm missing some Gnome tie-ins or other dependencies? Kinda wish this was released as a .deb file. Oh well, guess I'm sticking with Advanscene's NDScrc in VirtualBox.....

Acekard R.P.G. loader 4.01 released & Open Source!

I'm pretty excited to see if anyone runs with this cart. I can see people releasing and maintaining their own versions of the firmware too, which could be both good and bad. Still, if it keeps features coming and they maintain the project well, it can't lose. Open source is pretty great and...

SvSIP: use your DS as a phone!

SIPPhone.com / gizmoproject.com is a sip provider. I've been using them for a couple years now and I'm quite happy with their service. I'm guessing most of you are looking for free calls though; can't help you there. SIPPhone does offer a $0.25 credit for signing up though. FYI, SIP is similar...

    Project JDS v1.28 Final

I managed to grab it and put it in the downloads section. It's surprising that people don't automatically do this when announcing new software, especially when it's on the front page. Link to the download

    JDS 1.28

Learn from one alphabet to the other and back. Learn how to write the character and how it's pronounced. * Hiragana * Katakana * Romanji * Nigori * Maru * Writing * Speech option * Repeat option * Selectable setsAlthought v1.27 was supposed to be the final version...

    Project JDS v1.28 Final

Any chance anyone who happened to get this can put it in the download section? The webpage and download links are down right now. I have played around with some of the earlier releases and I find this to be super helpful. Really interested in getting the updated version.

    Gaming Nintendo DS

I play Planet Puzzle League almost exclusively and I can't believe more people are not in on that game! Meteos is cool, but PPL is so simple; it's like next-gen tetris!! Anyway, enough ranting, here's my votes (FWIW)" Planet Puzzle League Meteos Picross DS Clubhouse Games New Super Mario...

    Tourney registrations now open!

According to the first post, midnight on Friday (GMT), which I assume is this coming Friday. How are the friend codes going to work, and will there be a final list of all participants?

Hacking NDS Backup Tool 3in1 v0.2

Good to hear people are having success with this. I put the file in the download section here too. I'll probably try this out tonight with my M3 Simply, assuming I can scrape up an authentic cart. PS: At the time of this writing, the file still isn't available from the downloads section, just...

    Java for DS

I'm all for DS development, but I have a hard time believing Java will run well on the DS. I guess time will tell. Hope something comes of this for sure!

    Wii Boss

Hopefully it fits better than the WiiKey does I don't know why people have so many problems with their serial ports. I've never had an issue with any serial device on any OS. Although, I've never tried XP home, so perhaps that's it. Anyway, I think it's cool to see pre-made devices to load all...

    Deal or No Deal 1.01

This is NOT the retail rom, it's a homebrew version that was written months before the retail was out. It's vastly superior to the one in stores. Play it and see for yourself.Official Website

DS #1233: Deal or No Deal (USA)

Is it just me or is this game TERRIBLE?!!! It's SOO slow, the graphics are all jacked up (lighting effects when you are looking at the banker), 3D Howie looks awful and Howie's chatting is just damn annoying. Maybe I was spoiled by the vastly superior homebrew version of the gameshow though...

    Hacking Slot 2 Card

I got a PM from xcalibur798: In all honesty, I'm still learning all this myself, but what seems to happen is that the save information is placed in SRAM on the 3in1 card. When you back up the SRAM to a SAV file, it saves that information. You can also restore it later. However, I'm still a...

    Jump Ultimate Stars

Greatest fighting game on the DS, bar none. Sadly, one that will never leave the land of the red sun. This skin is done extremely well and is easily one of my favorites. There's really nothing that I personally did to it, it was pretty much perfect when I found it. I'm sure a lot of you will dig...

    Haruhara Haruko

Another skin from an unknown author; as always, if you know the original author, let me know so I can give them credit.Haruhara Haruko from the OVA FLCL. Nice and simple and it does the job. Grab it if you dig it.

    Eva Units

Another Neon Genesis Evangelion skin, this time featuring the Eva Units themselves. The images here look really nice and I tweaked it a bit to improve its appearance. This one comes with a matching GBA frame as well.

    Rei Ayanami

This is another one of my favorite skins. It's Rei from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The images look really nice on the DS and I changed the color of some of the text to better fit the skin and make the text more readable.
