    Hacking 1st Wii Modchip

Wow. Good news, but too expensive. I will wait until someone rips the PIC and make one myself.

Wii #0011 - Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (Europe)

Awesome. However, where are the NTSC dumps? This is incredible that a dozen games have been dumped and they are all PAL.

Hacking Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin crash (at priest)

I did FAT with 64k clusters. It isn't crashing *AS MUCH* and I have eliminated crashes (so far) with the way I approach the warp points (as noted above). I think it was a factor of both. Otherwise, no problems with any other games at all.

    Hacking Skin: DS Lite Blue

I am using this now. I doubt I will change it for a LONG time. It is perfect.

Hacking Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin crash (at priest)

Well I played for two hours last night with no crashes. This is what I did. I reformatted the SD with FAT 64k cluster I was only getting crashes at warp points so I avoided them for a while (which sucked) but if I ran in the room and stopped before I pressed up (as in I went up, paused, and...

Hacking Castlevania PoR randomly freezes on DS Simply

At this point I have no doubts it is either a bad dump or a faulty rom. It is not a problem with the hardware when EVERY game runs perfectly but one. When it comes to those that can play it no problem, I chalk it up to the DS hardware. I agree there will be a 1.1 when it hits Europe. I look...

It will not work that way.

    Hacking nesDS on R4

Like I said, OMF. You have to compile the program with the ROMs built in. Use the makends.bat that is in the archive. Drop the roms you want in the window and compile. It will make nesDS.NDS. Put that on the MicroSD card and go.

Hacking Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin crash (at priest)

No 1GB SD in stock up there. Since it is the only game I am having problems with, I am going to say it's a picky ROM. I will wait for firmware updates or the like.

    Hacking A-Data 512mb on a R4DS

Yeah, sorry for the lack of information. 1.05. Transcend 1GB card. Plays everything FLAWLESSLY except PoR. Locks up at that stone tablet, no problems with rapid start test or other use. I have played a few other games for quite a while (in fact, I played Trauma Center for about an hour last...

    Hacking A-Data 512mb on a R4DS

See, my Transcend 1Gb passes that test too. I got to Wind and did his stuff and all that. When I go into the room with the stone that shows me the ENTRANCE it will either crash, or be ok but crash if I look at it again. How many dumps of this are there? Could I possibly have a bad one?

    Hacking nesDS on R4

Works fine. I think it may be OMF. Are you dragging ROMs into the GUI?

Hacking Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin crash (at priest)

Looks like I am up to Wal-Mart for the ol swap-a-roo for a SanDisk if there is indeed a problem with the SD.

Hacking Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin crash (at priest)

I am running 1.04 (about to update) and I have a transcend 1GB card (no issues with ANY other titles) and it locks up when I get into a room with a big stone I have to examine and it says ENTRANCE (this is just after the first save). I will let everyone know if 1.05 fixes this. This card seems...

    Hacking Download Play & Wifi

Well it's not so much an issue if you get down to it. If you play with someone often enough, get 2 R4DS's. They are so freaking cheap!

@SylverReZ, I dislike the kind of drm where you have to play single player games online all the time bc of some verification bs

@Xdqwerty, Don't use games that have Easy Anti-Cheat as its been exploited many times.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, I have a rom of the ds version of impossible mission
