    well i got the files from the ifshax website which has all the necessary files (according to op) , i just added 5payldr.ipx to the iso_plugins folder and then used haxcopy to copy the hax folder (which contain fw.img) into the SLC

    so basically after copying all the files to the SLC, the minute menu should be accessible even without an SD card inserted right ? well for some reason it doesnt work for me (only accessible with the sd card) i did double check the steps, everything in order

    yes sorry i mean 5400 rpm and actually i have a 7200 rpm one, as for the power, no i dont have a power source for it. an Y cable ? u mean this in the pic ? if yes its enough to power the huge 3.5 hdd ?
