Buttons been acting bizarre for quite a while.

Totally understandable. Yeah, I'm a Vita hardware modifier. What seems easy to me is way out of the realm of possibility for many. Selling a "for parts" Vita on eBay could fetch you over half the cost of a very nice Vita from Japan.

Wall of text... My apologies Please don't worry, you are the only one put out by your Vita not working. Take all the time you need to respond. Sorry that the software solution ideas that I had didn't solve it... I want to state that this doesn't for sure mean the issue isn't software - just...

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Sorry, that reply was for zekro94. zekro94 said that you can put PSP and PS1 games on your memory card. The option is in adrenaline settings. I said it's better just put the PS1 and PSP games on SD2Vita. Not memory card. I suggest keep the 8gb MC for Vita emergencies.

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

uma0 is an extra storage-on-boot mounting point. If you have ux0 as SD2Vita, some common uma0 can be: Official Sony Memory Card PSVSD (MicroSD adapter for 3G Vitas) USB on PSTV Vita apps like games and homebrew must be installed to ux0. Homebrew apps can use uma0 as storage - for example...

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Undub Final Fantasy X and X-2: Get the plugin named rePatch and install it to ur0:/tai and the config like you did the other plugins. https://github.com/SonicMastr/rePatch-reLoaded Create a folder called "repatch" in ux0 (same area as app folder and user folder and license, etc). Download the...

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Just for your information: The Vita Memory Cards can only be written to so many times before they break (same with all flash storage). Using the Memory Card as game storage now may stop you from using the Memory Card when you need it - like if your vita needs to be reformatted or if you want to...

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Do you have other apps installed? Also, are you copying using VitaShell? If so is this over USB or ftp? Or are you putting the card in the computer? VitaShell 2.02 https://github.com/TheOfficialFloW/VitaShell/releases

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

You can try that, so far what you have seems like it should work. Try reinstalling the game and the plugin. You do have work.bin in the ux0:app/gameid/sce_sys/package/ directory?

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

You have 0syscall6 and NoNpDrm plugins installed to ux0? You want to install them to ur0: and then delete the entire tai folder from the ux0:. Then reboot and try refreshing.

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Oh, I was just suggesting that so you could migrate your memory card saves and installed homebrew to your SD card. If you are already set on that - skip that reply entirely.

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Sorry about all the text... Since you are just getting started, you may first want to prepare by setting ux0 to memcard and uma0 to SD2Vita then restart. Then in VitaShell, copy everything from ux0 (currently the memory card) to uma0 (currently your SD2Vita). Easiest way is to enter ux0 and...

I cannot get uma0 to appear (Using SD2Vita)

Game backups usually just have work.bin installed already. It would be in ux0:app/xxgameidxx/sce_sys/package/ You may have done the following already, sorry if they seem obvious: You may need 0syscall6 plugin too (for games or updates released on higher firmware). Vita Games must be...

Buttons been acting bizarre for quite a while.

Could be software or could be hardware. Easiest test is to turn off, the hold L while turning it on to temporarily turn plugins off. Then test your buttons out, "Welcome Park" can help as a test app. If the buttons work, then your issue may be plugin related. If not a plugin... You could...

Psvita black screen after battery dead

If the blue light is on, try holding the power until it turns off (long time). And then turn it on again. (Sorry, you already said you tried this for a few minutes). Or, if it's already off, try this button combo (put it down on a table first): Hold Start+Select+PlayStation+L and additionally...

[Modding/Repair] Wire Glue for Battery Replacement?

Also - you can take your vita, your batttery, and a connector with 3 pins (both male and female parts) to a phone repair place. Show them the solder points from the video and usually they are willing to do the quick solder for a few bucks. Pins from the connector and the corresponding pads...

[Modding/Repair] Wire Glue for Battery Replacement?

Wow! Actually I've never heard of wire glue. The answer is maybe yes? Wire glue seems to have ohms of resistance (so does a wire btw) - ohms of resistance reduce the voltage and amperes allowed through. Placing the wire on the board pads and gluing it there with conductive glue might not...
