    Gaming Transferring SD Card Data

    Wanting to transfer the data from my 8gb micro sd to a smaller 4gb one so i can use the 8gb one for something else, keep in mind my DSi's hacked (twilightmenu++ and unlaunch), if that's even relevant to the process.

    Both my n3DS and DSi have an L shoulder button issue and every god damn time i blow into it to the point of asphyxiation it just works for a little while. Why does this work and what is a good permanent fix for both systems? (That isn't just sending them to Nintendo)

    So the cart install fork of GM9 installs the games themselves but not the save data. Is there a way to dump the save data from the carts and apply those to the games?

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
