    It doesn’t matter what chip you have installed, the values should be the same. From my experience and others, A, C, D = 0.500v ~ 0.800v B = ~1.2v If it’s a dat0 connection problem, you’ll need to take the motherboard out of the switch and resolder / reseat the adapter with the friction...

    Almost certainly dat0 issue. Assuming they used the dat0 adapter, over time it has potential to lose the solid connection. You can check the diode values for each point with a multimeter to be certain.

    100% yes. Holding my steam deck near my face while lying down was terrible. Now I can lay down and look at a huge screen at my ceiling and hold the device as if it was just a normal controller. I think the top of the glasses where it touches your eyebrows get a little warm but never hot.

    I would say go for a third party retailer such as Walmart, Target, Amazon, and possibly Best Buy. From a few sources they are still shipping on 3.20 firmware. PS Direct is shipping 4.03 and may (even already) start to be sold on 4.50 firmware.
