Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Just got a recent problem. I got a new flashcard, an EZ-Flash Vi, for my DSi. After some kernel shenanigans I tried to get the menu working on it, but after starting it it gets stuck on white screens. Also tried with Autoboot (The kernel is the same as the old V cards), and puts a black screen...

Homebrew nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

Oooh that's such a shame. But I suppose is pretty hard to make bootstrap keep up with reading a save and ROM all the time. Fair enough, always do just what you are able to do, and never overwork yourself :)

Homebrew nds-bootstrap loader: Run commercial NDS backups from an SD Card

Hello again! I don't have an issue this time, however I have a question out of curiosity. I saw the last release of Bootstrap attempted to add Slot-2 emulation which sounds amazing, but ended up not working out among other things. I was wondering, did you make some progress on it or are you...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Oooh that is such a shame, wanted to get a PokéWalker for SoulSilver. But hey it's fair, at least I know now that it's just a bit faulty, thanks Robz. Remember I'm grateful for your work always :)

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

But man, the issue here is that is just the Infrared that does not work. The ROM works perfectly fine otherwise, which I think is the problem you are thinking off. TWiLight Menu, at least technically, added the function to use the InfraReds of an inserted official cartridge with a ROM you load...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I am using a White ROM with a White 2 cart inserted, not a White 2 ROM. Yet again, I know the first installments have tons of problems too but they also should be patched by the Menu before bootup if I remember correctly. It has the AP patches by default on a folder.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Okay, so talking about the infrareds again, now I tried with a Pokémon White ROM to connect to a friend's White cart, with a White 2 cart inserted in my 2DS as well. It didn't work sadly, and later we tried to connect just the carts to see if the IRs worked and they did. Not sure what I'm doing...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Gotcha, yeah then that's the issue. Thought the black rectangle above the DS slot was the thing that would be used for IR instead (which I think is an infrared light but not sure). Yeah that would be all, thanks for the help as always Rob! Shame I can't test it for now but oh well

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

I may be thinking in something here. Do I need an IR cartridge on the system that has the ROM running to work? A.K.A. running a SoulSilver ROM with a White 2 cartridge inserted.

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Okay, got that. The issue here tho is that the DSi isn't running the ROM, the 2DS is. The test I did was putting the cartridge, the physical game, onto the DSi, running it through the official launcher in the official NAND, and trying to connect with the ROM that was running in the 2DS with...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Oh I have Hiya, don't worry. Nice to know it should work, thanks for one of the issues solved, but the real issue here is that trying to connect my original White 2 cart in the DSi with the ROM ran through the menu in 2DS don't connect at all, they just won't find eachother. Also nice to see...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Okay, so I'm a bit confused on how the restored InfraRed feature works in TWiLight Menu. I tried to launch White 2 as a ROM through the menu in my 2DS, with any cart inserted (in this case Platinum), and the system does restart when booting the game up. However if I try to comunicate with my...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Gotcha! Thanks again Robz Edit: I tried both putting in the widescreen folder two .bin files with the name "Pokemon Plata Soulsilver.bin" and "Pokemon Plata Soulsilver.nds.bin', and none of them worked. Of course both names are mentioning the exact ROM's name. Edit 2: Okay, now I tried...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Also about this, I checked both files in HxD and they're the same, but as said one works and the other does not. Maybe is in the naming of the file?

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Hello! I'm here to report a small issue with the Widescreen feature. For me it works with Pokémon Oro Heartgold, however, it does not with Plata Soulsilver (both versions the spanish ones). Is there a solution to this? Also, recently I updated my TwilightMenu to the last version.

Homebrew [Release] GodMode9i - All Access File Browser for the DS(i) (and 3DS)

Oh my god, it finally worked now...! Thank you so much for your patience Robz! I really appreciate it!! Oh by the way, if you wonder how I am able to load things from the Slot-1(as said in the Menu's thread that the slot was damaged), I was able to give it a good clean, and now it can read...

Homebrew [Release] GodMode9i - All Access File Browser for the DS(i) (and 3DS)

Done, and yeah, the GM9i I'm booting up is the SD card one after booting the cart, but I have no idea how to access the one on it, as after I boot it, it just kicks me back out to the SD card menu, just without the option to launch the cart again (meaning it certainly did), and maybe it sounds...

Homebrew [Release] GodMode9i - All Access File Browser for the DS(i) (and 3DS)

Nothing either. For more info, the Guru error happens when the screen goes white. The WiFi led switches off, and then the error appears. It maybe is cause I'm using hiyaCFW?

    It made absolutely nothing, sadly

Um, yeah I also said I tried that, booting the Slot-1 before booting up GM9i. That's when the Guru error kicks in too after choosing GM9i
