Hacking Rhapsodii Shima v2.0 - PRP ed.

Been experimenting with sorting this by company name instead. Did custom graphics for backgrounds and a couple of missing systems. I’m building this for someone else, so I didn’t split up the arcade games - they don’t know the difference between CPS1, CPS2, etc. still a few systems to add by its...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Another (probably easy) one for the group... though it may be more retroarch-related. I've changed my WiiFlow plugin for Atari 5200 to use the Retroarch Atari800 core. I was successful in launching games via wiixl, but now that I've made the change, I get nothing but crackling noises and a blank...

    Homebrew Mame 2003 Plus

In the control settings, it looks like I have the option to choose "Classic" in FBA, but in these cores, I only have the option to choose "Classic Gamepad" which isn't the same. The fire buttons, coin button, and start button all work as intended, but the joystick doesn't do anything.

    Homebrew Mame 2003 Plus

It's definitely recognizing the classic controller and it seems the action buttons work, but the directional controls don't work in any of the games I've tested. They do with the Gamecube controller, but not with the classic controller. It's likely just some small tweak...

    Homebrew Mame 2003 Plus

Does MAME 2003 Plus support the Wii Classic Controller? I'm finding I can only use the Gamecube controller and I'd love to use my Arcade Fighter instead (like I can with FBA). Is it simply a matter of me mapping the controls myself? Thanks!

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Crisis averted - it was my own screw up of course. My argument was wrong - should have been "{device}:/{path}/|{name}" instead of "{device}:/{path}/{name}". Interestingly, the latter works with cps1, which is why I was so confused when I was matching it with no success. Both cores work now...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Yes - I just used you hexedit trick to point to a different config file and still no dice. Had some time to test: I made the edits, started the DOL in my WiiFlow plugins folder through homebrew using file explorer, got the welcome message, started a game and was able to play successfully. I...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

I've actually got the same problem, even after downloading the nightly. The same issue seems to be affecting the Neo Geo core - including Wiimpathy's version. I can launch both from homebrew, but not through WiiFlow.

You should be able to push B and the + button together (as shown at the bottom of the source menu background) to change the sort order. It switches between sorting alphabetically and sorting by button number.

Hacking Rhapsodii Shima v2.0 - PRP ed.

Great theme! Exactly what I’ve been looking for! Do you have blank backgrounds available to allow us to build our own? I’m organizing by company (Nintendo, Sega, NEC, etc.) rather than platform and I’m able to reverse engineer the source buttons to crest my own, but I can’t do the same for the...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

Much appreciated! A good example of my main issue is that I’ve got Famicom Disk Covers that are jewel cases, but when I use the magic number listed for FDS from my platform.ini, they display as standard covers. How do I manipulate the magic number to force the covers to display in jewel case...

    Hacking WiiFlow Lite

It may buried in the thread, but does anyone have a list of the magic numbers that are associated with each flow? I’ve got some jewel cases and other short boxes that show up as large boxes right now and like to be able to force an alternative box shape.
