Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

Keep calling it that. Your just like the other guy I ousted for defending Bethesda. It is DRM. If you have to be online to play the damn game then it is 100% DRM. You need to search up the facts and read the books before you go out spurring false info.

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

Did we say we pirate? No Did we say we think pirating costs nothing? No What i'm trying to tell you is that people don't like the DRM because it forces you to be online no matter what. The Switch is meant to be portable. Not stuck at home all damn day. Since it has DRM that forces you to be...

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

I highly disagree with you. These games are over 20 years old so losing money is out of the question. And you can easily bypass that security by just taking the WAD file and slapping it on a PC and playing it in an emulator.

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

I would have just had ID Software do all the porting. I don't trust other companies to port old games because they either do it wrong or implement stuff like DRM that forces you to be online to play it. As for Bethesda they could have used the homebrew DOSBox port or some crud like that to...

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

Well according to my friend its not even emulated. That's what fucked it. Its running on the bare hardware of the Switch which we all know is too new to run the game like it did back in the 90's. My friend also said they did this on purpose.

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

What's funnier is that its not even their game so like...who the fuck gave you the right to force DRM on it.

Bethesda will patch the new DOOM re-releases to make the mandatory login optional

This is why I use Steam. I mean...GOG works too but most (if not all) of my games are on Steam so I thought why not? I also didn't pay for it. I got it for free.

Software RetroArch's Steam release has been delayed to later this year

Well I did hear they were trying to get deals with companies such as Nintendo to sell games as DLC so its perfectly legal. I mean...I for one hate that idea because I mean...while piracy is illegal they are literally just old games that aren't even sold anymore so why should we pay like 100's of...

Software RetroArch's Steam release has been delayed to later this year

Not really because emulation isn't illegal. Nintendo wont be able to touch them as long as they don't provide ROMs.

UK Gambling Commission declares that lootboxes currently can't be considered gambling

Nah some games have lootboxes that just pop up at random times such as on level up's. They're free but they are still lootboxes and they lure people into spending shitload's of money on lootboxes.

UK Gambling Commission declares that lootboxes currently can't be considered gambling

Oh I knew that I just misunderstood your sentence. Yeah...it is kinda stupid but at the same time the government shouldn't have to protect people from their own stupidity.

UK Gambling Commission declares that lootboxes currently can't be considered gambling

That is true but you can't stop lootboxes if you play a game that has them but you don't use the lootboxes they just pop up

UK Gambling Commission declares that lootboxes currently can't be considered gambling

You make it sound like this is a bad thing. Article 13 was a bad thing. European countries classifying lootboxes as gambling is not.
