Hacking [RELEASE] PSVita USB streaming (UVC - USB Video Class)

you have no idea the infinite-layer breed of hell installing this has plunged my vita into after following every installation instruction as carefully as possible. every single fix results in a dead end after just barely unearthing how to fix the boot loop it caused. don't use this garbage

Homebrew Emulator [Release]fMSX3DS(MSX/MSX2/MSX2+ emulator with new feature for 3DS)

Thanks for this super cool and niche emulator! I wanted to report a major bug I encountered in MSX2 Dragon Quest 1 (specifically with Django's partial English translation applied): After speaking to the old wizard in the starting castle area who rapidly flashes the screen with light after...

Hacking Star Fox Assault shows up as duplicate copy of Advenures in USB Loader GX

I just put Star Fox Assault and a couple of other games (Twin Snakes and Sonic Heroes) in the games folder of my Wii's external hard drive, but in USB Loader GX it just shows up as a duplicate channel for Star Fox Adventures (which was already on the hard drive), with both channels just...

EZ-Flash Omega DE, .esv gameboy save files and .sav.

Sorry if this is a bit of a necro, but did you ever try this out? I'm having a similar problem converting my Pokemon Emerald save from the .ss0 format used by NewSuperUltimateInjector for 3DS to .sav for my EZFlash Omega (non-definitive-edition). Renaming the file extension in File Explorer just...

Hacking Homebrew Homebrew app Vita infinite boot loop after installing UDCD-UVC

I already did all of these steps and it just made the boot loop worse, like I said

Hacking Homebrew Homebrew app Vita infinite boot loop after installing UDCD-UVC

I already did all of that. This is supposed to make it so the Vita boots to my homebrew without holding L anymore after I do it once to remove the plugin, right? Unless I now have to hold L every time, which isn't quite a solution. There should really be a warning placed on the page for this...

Hacking Gaming Homebrew Oldies PS1/2 Jak 1 PS2 stuttering when entering areas: OPL issue or normal?

PSX Place says I have "insufficient privileges to reply" on my couple-weeks-old account (with zero clarification on how to change that from what I can find. They should really improve their site conveyance in general) so I'll just link the save file here.

Hacking Homebrew Homebrew app Vita infinite boot loop after installing UDCD-UVC

I did everything in the guide and then the steps you provided, including creating a new config.txt in ux0/tai and deleting the one from ur0/tai. The Vita still infinitely attempts to boot, only now it only lasts on the Enso logo for a few seconds before starting over.

Hacking Gaming Homebrew Oldies PS1/2 Jak 1 PS2 stuttering when entering areas: OPL issue or normal?

I already tried 1-3-6, and the OPL 2048 beta doesn't show mode 7 in the menu. And what format should I upload the save in? I'm presuming this means this isn't normal behavior for the game, BTW?

Hacking Gaming Homebrew Oldies PS1/2 Jak 1 PS2 stuttering when entering areas: OPL issue or normal?

I'm playing Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on my fat PS2 with the OPL 2048 beta off an internal HDD. Whenever I enter large open areas like the ones in Rock Village, there's a big microstutter that occurs whenever crossing set invisible points; especially noticeable when turning the...

Hacking Gaming Homebrew PS1/2 Installing HDD-OSD on modchipped PS2?

I have a Modbo 750. I'm using a modified version of HDD-OSD that allows for installation on non-Sony HDDs, specifically the version that allows for just copying the necessary files over to the __sysconf and __system directories of my 500GB WD Blue IDE drive, since I don't own an IDE-to-USB...

Hacking Gaming Homebrew PS1/2 Installing HDD-OSD on modchipped PS2?

I put the folders for 1.965 and 1.953 on my USB stick and put it in the PS2. I backed up my memory card contents, and before I even installed anything, I saw that somehow, the system menu'd suddenly been updated to 2.00, with me able to browse my hard drive. I swear it was still 1.20 the last...

Hacking Gaming Homebrew PS1/2 Installing HDD-OSD on modchipped PS2?

Where can I find any of these older versions? The developer's taken down the links for being "no longer needed" (a decision I heavily disagree with, FTR) Also, should I install FMCB before or after HDD-OSD? And what method should I use for installing HDD-OSD?

Any idea what old version(s) specifically?

Hacking Gaming Homebrew PS1/2 Installing HDD-OSD on modchipped PS2?

I've been meaning to install HDD-OSD (the modified version of the 2.0 update to the PS2 system menu for adding the hard drive to the system browser), but I can't find any guides/info on how to get it working with a modchip. Many sources say to use FHDB alongside HDD-OSD, but FHDB has issues with...

Hacking Gaming Hardware Homebrew PS1/2 Can no longer access PS2 homebrew from missing boot.elf file

This worked seamlessly, thank you so much! I was dreading having to buy an IDE-to-USB adapter and had just finally gotten ethernet transfer over HDLGameInstaller working, so you're a lifesaver. The CD image I tried before, by the way, was from the PSX-Place page for wLaunchElf, in the...

Hacking Gaming Hardware Homebrew PS1/2 Can no longer access PS2 homebrew from missing boot.elf file

TL;DR: Is there any way to access my PS2's homebrew/filesystem again with no boot.elf for my Modbo 750 on the memory cards or hard drive, and no FMCB/FHDB installation, without using an internal-HDD-to-USB adapter on my PC? Maybe via ethernet transfer? Full details: I recently discovered my...

Hacking Homebrew Homebrew app Vita infinite boot loop after installing UDCD-UVC

I just put UDCD-UVC (both the default and OLED-off versions) on my Vita 1000, following the instructions on its Github page to put the files in the ur0 folder and add their directories under the Taihen config file's kernels section through WinSCP. After rebooting the console, it now gets stuck...

Hacking Translation [Release] Clannad PS Vita English Version

i think the included instructions could use some work. there's multiple instances of not specifying whether a task is done on the vita or pc, and not specifying the locations of files and folders. without these details, people not fully experienced with vita homebrew are going to have to...
