Has anyone find a solution to get the analog triggers working in Dolphin by any chance?? Trying to play though Mario Sunshine :P. It is possible without, just annoying.

    Homebrew RetroArch Switch

Does anyone know if their is another way to get .HTC files for Mupen64? 80% of the texture Hi-Res packs come in png format, which is a frigging PITA, my only windows OS is on a Mac(via bootcamp). From what I understand, to turn resolution Texture folders into an .HTC in the cache you need to run...

    Hacking 8.1.0 Update is ready

On your currently owned games, aslong as you don't wish for online play, is their ever a point you are forced to update? Does anything ever stop you from playing offline basically if a new update is available for both Eshop games and Carts? Will you still get nagged leaving airplane mode in docked?

Hardware New Nvidia Shield = New Nintendo Switch?

I highly doubt that, because games would have to be built around the crappier of the two consoles. Sony have already released videos of the new PS5 load times and speeds in comparison to the PS4 models. It is literally 10X the speed.

    Hacking Updating&stock support

I still create a new backup of 8.1.0 using an old version of Hekate? Both boot files and Raw NAND?

Hardware New Nvidia Shield = New Nintendo Switch?

Doesn't really matter what their competitors sell consoles for, its the profit margins. PS4 Pro and Xbox One X both cost more to make. Most of the money is made from the games, but more consoles sold means more games to sell people to.

    Hacking Updating&stock support

I imagine Gentoo/Ubuntu and lakka should all still be fine though. Considering its all linux. Cant say for sure as I haven't tested, but I don't see any reason why they should run any differently.

    Hacking Updating&stock support

Just applied the latest update 8.1 sysnand, using the last installment of SX of 2.7.1 beta. Original firmware doesn't boot from RCM mode. Im guessing they need code, the same as they do for CFW. This isn't a big deal as I can still boot fine normally, I just dislike having to remove the right...

    Hacking Updating&stock support

Apparently this isn't the case, just updated :P. Trying to boot "Original Firmware" no longer works from the RCM menu.

Firmware Switch firmware update 8.1.0 out now

What I don't understand is why can't just boot normal firmware from the menu? I honestly like having AUTO-RCM installed. Booting original FW doesn't work.

Firmware Switch firmware update 8.1.0 out now

Or just say you got a recent memo from Doug Bowsers son himself, Bowser jnr, requesting conclusive information gathered on the latest stability update. Needless to say your tests via running custom firmware are currently inconclusive and you will need more time before you release your report...

Hacking Question Is my Switch savable?

Make sure to send the payload from a computer, don't use a dongle. That way you can get feedback weather your payload has been sent and if your properly in autorcm.

Hacking Question Is my Switch savable?

I have never heard of a brick having an impact on RCM. My guess is your switch has no battery. Charge it for a couple of hours, then attempt to send a payload in RCM, then go from their. Because you have no Autorcm don't forget the basics procedure, JIG&Volume +&power 3 seconds, send your...

Hardware New Nvidia Shield = New Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo isn't going to release a more powerful switch any time soon regardless of what Nvidia does in my opinion. 1. The current model is selling incredibly well 2. They dominated E3 so sales will only increase 3. They need a 3DS replacement as it is at its end 4. They will wan't to target...

    Hacking RELEASE Noob-Friendly L4T Ubuntu

Oh I meant to ask, is Mupen next in this Retroarch any different to the Lakka version? Most N64 seem to work a little better in Lakka, however I notice Yoshi's Story 64 works fine on Ubuntu, in Lakka running around/moving forward causes your game to drop from 60-20fps. Also how to get joy cons...

Homebrew RELEASE L4T Lakka Switch - now with audio and Vulkan

I know the wireless bluetooth drivers don't work for this and hence the dock option was removed. Is having wired controller options a possibility for lakka atm though? For example the gamecube official nintendo controller as wired through the dock, as in the one they released for smash bros :P?

    Hacking RELEASE Noob-Friendly L4T Ubuntu

Most vary depending on the games, but in general, using PAL over NTSC, threaded video, and in some cases disabling VSYNC helps. Changing the Dolphin CPU clock setting helps very much in many cases but these all change depending on which game your playing.

    Hacking RELEASE Noob-Friendly L4T Ubuntu

have you tried performance in Lakka or Horizon ;)? That is all I can suggest really. I haven't really done much dreamcast testing on any OS sadly.
