Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

Let me know if the instructions on the first post work for the digital release while I work on a way to make the disc CFW2OFW version work. Thanks!

Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

From a few other reports I received outside this thread, the patch doesn't work on HAN conversion (for now). It only works on CFW and HEN. I'll be looking into making the patch compatible with HAN in the next few days.

Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

This mod does not affect the eboot file. CFW/HFW would be the largest issue in safely going online.

No one can really confirm, but my guess is your chance of getting banned is only as high as the chance of getting banned for having any CFW at all. Theoretically, you could install this patch and then run OFW and your ban chances would be very low since this is a cosmetics-only mod.

Install Multiman, use the Multiman File Manager functionality and follow the instructions for the PSN version in the first post. You managed to hack your PS3 so you should be able to figure out how to install the patch very easily.

Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

You need to tell me if you're using real hardware or not. Go on Youtube and search up "Multiman File Manager" and that should help you on a real PS3. If you're using PSN version (NPJB00785) - It sounds like you didn't apply all the folders or they were rewritten at some point (especially...

Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

If you are on real hardware, the game should automatically update to 1.04 as long as you have set up an internet connection (no need for PSN access). On an emulator or no Internet situation, you will need to find a dump of the game with the upgrade included. Google is your friend.

Hacking [Release] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition PS3 English Translation Patch

This is a full English translation patch for the Playstation 3 version of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition. That means that every word, texture, etc. is in English with the exception of the items noted in Note 1. The official English version of the original Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax...

Things you recently bought or got

I bought a $20 bottle of Maggi "soy sauce" (seasoning sauce). I've always been somewhat curious how it compares to actual soy sauce so I figured why not?

What game are you playing right now

Sega seems intent on releasing the entire Yakuza series on PC, so I am slowing getting through all that. Fun and quirky games for sure.

    What is GBAtemp’s legacy?

Its legacy is the site that shows up as the first Google result for idiot-proof hacking tutorials. Sometimes you don't want to think and just want to do.

Hacking [RELEASE] Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition - Translation

Thanks for this patch. While I have never used it for the PS Vita, it was of tremendous help getting my PS3 Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax Ignition English patch off the ground. Perhaps a collaboration to bring a full English patch to the Vita is in order? EDIT: Shameless plug

    Your all-time favorite meal

Sometimes all one needs is a steaming hot plate of Szechuan style mapo tofu. Simple but brimming with flavor. Equally delicious with meat or without and quite filling to top it off.

What is the best console to have homebrew on, and why?

In terms of accessibility, price, and functionality, the Wii still takes it for me. Anyone could've hacked a Wii and that ease of entry also meant there was a homebrew application for basically everything and anything. Plus, the Wii is dirt cheap.

Has anyone ever gifted an "emulation machine" to a kid?

Instead of giving someone a system preloaded with games, giving them a system with the capability to add more games and tinker with them is more beneficial and fun for both parties. The "teach a man how to fish" adage comes to mind.

Who Is Your Favorite Pokemon Starter [POLL]

The fact that it has taken so long for Eevee to be a starter Pokemon just shows Game Freak knew it was too good a choice. It's cute and has multiple, strong evolutions - if you were privy to the latter information, it would be tough to dissuade anyone from choosing another starter.

    Is technology getting “too complicated”?

I agree with the general sentiment that technology is getting easier and more accessible to the layperson but said layperson's perception is paramount as to whether something or anything is "too complicated." People are creatures of habit, so new things are typically intimidating in a general...
