    Yeah, if ever. My switch was on 1.0.0 till a few days ago, and I decided to just do it. I only got the switch for Zelda BOTW and once I completed it, it was sitting on my shelf collecting dust.

    no. you must use choidujourNX to upgrade your firmware to play newer games that require higher firmwares. Unless you want to play older games that does not require a higher firmware than 2.1 fw.

    Yes as an eshop game. But its fine. I can stick to 3.0.2 and play Odyssey first. And maybe go up for tennis ace later on. Just waiting for this NAND backup to finish.
