Hacking A new DNS in town. AquaticDNS

Ah, I must warn you that you're not blocking all telemetry (and doing so would block many online features anyways). I wouldn't personally count on avoiding a ban with this, but this is definitely useful for privacy-conscious users. It's great to see more alternatives in the DNS space :)

Do you have a list of what you block? This seems risky to me.

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

Heh, been some while since I replied here. Yes, exosphere.ini prodinfo blanking + 90DNS what I would recommend, actually. exosphere.ini blanking should protect you in most if not all cases when in CFW, and 90dns should help in case you accidentally boot into OFW etc, or if there's something...

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

Yeah, I saw. Not much to be done with them except for getting a non-shit router sadly, but for those whose blocks are done on ISP level and not router level, you can simply place something like raspberry pi zero at your own house and set up your local 90dns instance on it. Repo has instructions...

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

see this (change your primary/secondary to a set from there): Also I'm aware that they're outdated and opened an issue for it: https://github.com/nh-server/switch-guide/issues/71

I meant run tester on him. It's likely that his ISP is causing the issues.

GBAtemp Exclusive Last chance! GBAtemp Redbubble shirt design competition - design a shirt, winners get free merch!

Read the link, that's still spec work :) Besides, GBATemp will make money off sales of these shirts, so it's rather unfair to only give them merch instead of some monetary compensation or a percentage of the sales IMO. I really hope this is a joke.

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

So I've heard your requests. There's now a secondary 90dns instance, in USA, hosted at a completely different server provider to provide additional resilience: 207.246.121.77 To switch to it (if you're in NA or SA), simply set primary DNS to 207.246.121.77 and secondary DNS to 163.172.141.219...

Homebrew RELEASE 90DNS: DNS server for blocking all Nintendo Servers

Interesting. The most important one is nintendo.net so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll test on my own console later today. This won't interfere with your local network.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
