    Hoping someone can help me out. I have an unpatched switch but when I try and boot into RCM to launch CFW all I get is a black screen when trying to inject the payload. I don't think the switch is bricked because I can still boot up normally. Any thoughts?

    Sorry if this is a frequent question but I have a unpatched console currently on 4.1. I plan on running some CFW at some point but my question is am I ok to update to use eShop now before I start using CFW or should I stay on 4.1?

    Got a new jig and got into RCM mode and confirmed I am (thankfully) unpatched. Thanks for the guide!

    I can't boot into RCM mode as far as I know because (I believe) I have a patched console. When I go through the steps with the jig in place it still just boots up normally. The jig isn't the issue, we tested it on another console immediately after.

    Is the unreleased exploit Atmosphere that I keep seeing? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this and just want to read up since everything I was looking at before was for unpatched consoles. Thanks!

    Sorry if there's a better place to ask / read about this but what is the common thought on what folks should do with patched consoles? I bought one last week that's on 4.1 but I believe it's patched because it won't boot into RCM with a jig.
