Gaming What is the „Big Surprise by Nintendo?“

Since Google Chrome added Switch controller support for their Gamepad-API and Google Stadia was announced; a Chromium based web browser for the Switch that supports Google Stadia? That'd be lit.. I'm probably dreaming tho.

    Hacking Switch Fuse burning RCM

You updated your OFW to 6.2 normally or through ChoiDujour? Or did you update the Emunand to 6.2?

    Hacking Switch Fuse burning RCM

Splendid. So to keep it short. Boot normally without any bootloader bypassing fuse r/w -> fuse burnt Boot using bootloader that bypasses fuse r/w -> fuse intact Generally we can say hekate and sx bootloader (version 1.2+) bypass fuse stuff. I assume fusee does that too?

Homebrew Suggestion [REQUEST] UltraStar Deluxe (open source karaoke)

Alright, I was kinda busy the whole time and forgot to reply back ^^. It doesn‘t seem like the people working on Perfourmous will work on any console port. The knowledge for that also seems to be missing there (they said they‘d have no idea where to start even, neither do I lol). But after...

Homebrew Suggestion [REQUEST] UltraStar Deluxe (open source karaoke)

I believe Performous is still our best bet just because it's written with C++ and SDL (it also takes file formats from UltraStart it seems and various others). Makes porting definitley easier, since sadly there's no C# compiler for the Switch. Vocalux does seem to rely on the .NET Framework too...

Homebrew Suggestion [REQUEST] UltraStar Deluxe (open source karaoke)

I found this while browsing around and looking for other UltraStar-like stuff: https://github.com/performous/performous It's written in C++. Not sure how hard it would be to port to Switch, but maybe someone picks it up :) Edit: Looked at it a bit more indepth. It uses sdl2, has been ported to...

ROM Hack RELEASE Extremely Basic Super Mario Party Save Editor

You can setup visual studio so it downloads missing dependencies (link to microsoft). Or just right click the project, go to "Manage NuGet-Pakackes" and download the two dependencies. Alternatively you can just use the NuGet command line tool (link) Not sure if I'm allowed to publish the...

ROM Hack RELEASE Extremely Basic Super Mario Party Save Editor

Did you restore any NuGet packages? I didn't check if there were any dependencies or not, but I guess that would be a common error. (My Visual Studio is configured to do this automatically, which I think is not default behaviour) Edit: Just checked, there are two NuGet packages referenced...

ROM Hack RELEASE Extremely Basic Super Mario Party Save Editor

Could you please elaborate what kind of errors with the error message, or post the log? I was able to build and run it (in debug mode). I just cloned the repo, and launched the solution file, then ran it as it was.

ROM Hack RELEASE Extremely Basic Super Mario Party Save Editor

Just try to open the "MarioPartySaveEditor.sln", wait for Visual Studio to open fully, and then press start. You are currently trying to execute the "current file" which is the project configuration, so that won't work. And rather than just executing it, you should properly build it in "release"...

Hacking Running Fusée Gelée through a Teensy 3.6

It could also be that the TX dongle has a tiny battery inside. Minmal hardware won't require that much power anymore nowadays. I'm looking for something myself now, digging a bit deeper.
