EDIT: I know what I did wrong. I used a colon in the title and when I tried again without it, now my game is there.
I'm using 2.0. I tried doing TMNT Turtles in Time and chose Super Metroid as the base--did everything correct.. said it was successful inject... then chose WUP Installable and...
THANK YOU. So I found my old storage hard drive and used my own ripped copy of Smash Brawl.
Used the Brawl Builder to build the Project M ISO; then used TeconMoon’s app to build the Project M WUP install folder; used WUP Installer GX2 and can now play Project M on Wii U.
Thanks to everyone...
I have the ISO... used the Wii VC Injector Tool Script app to build a WUP folder. I just want to install it onto the Wii U like all the other games.
Project M is a special build of Smash Brawl that gives it the mechanics of Smash Melee. It's not patching Brawl, it's a separate game.
Yeah it didn't make sense to me either. I mean, I'm not super fluent in all the Wii U hacking tools etc, but even I think it's weird that I was able to create a WUP Installable version of Project M... WUP Installer gets to 100% installed; but then yells at me for not being patched. Oh well!
I'll try this the first chance I can get! I have my system auto-boot into CFW built from Brain Age DS. Does that make a difference? I'm able to install (and play) everything else I've built from this app--but I will try the Mocha thing as soon as I can. Will report back after! Thanks for your...
I get the same error when trying to install Project M. I use Haxchi and have it auto-boot when I start up the system... so the sig patches are not my problem. I don't know why it won't install. Everything else works perfectly!
Hey guys, I am trying to install Project M onto my Wii U with Wup Installer but I keep getting the sig patch/ticket error. I have Haxchi CFW running so I don’t understand why it won’t install?
Thanks guys.
(I posted it here because I used this program to build the WUP files)
In my case, the ??? was because I had & in the name when I converted it to WUP. I re-did it without the & and it’s working now.
Just need time to hook up my old Wii; use my GameCube memory card to rip all my old saves!
I’ve been now trying to install Phantasy Star Online I & II GameCube. It ends up with a ??? And saying the game data is corrupted. I tried two ISOs and both the same thing.
Anyone get PSO running?
Anyone get Conker’s bad fur day to work on Wii U? If Banjo works I don’t see why Conker can’t!
I love the work that has been done in this community. The Wii U is the best Nintendo console outside the Switch!
I don’t remember which page I read it on; but if you’re still here—to the guy who asked about Simpson’s Hit and Run for GameCube
I will try it tonight or tomorrow and get back to you. I have the game and ripped the ISO myself and had it working on USB Loader GX.
Will try for Wii U injection...
Okay I only had time to tackle Mario Kart Wii and got it working. I used this application and the WBFS instead of the ISO. It even found my old save file when I loaded it :)
I just read that the program lets you use the WBFS file?
I’ll try that when I get home.
I had used USB Loader GX to rip it to USB, then converted the wbfs file to ISO; then used that ISO in the program to inject. I’ll try just the WBFS file tonight and see how that goes.
I just found it odd...
I put the two keys that the app asked for. Also, I was able to inject Crazy Taxi for GameCube and it works perfectly. Mario Kart Double Dash worked as well. I have tried Smash Bros Brawl with no luck.
I used this and the USB Helper app to inject Mario Kart Wii, and the game doesn't load. I see the Online Experience not rated warning at the beginning... then darkness. In fact the only way to continue is to unplug the Wii U. Any suggestions? I tried two different ISOs...
Thanks!
