Do you still work on it? If yes, how long would it take to implement the recompression function?

I have wondered if there is a way to rip the sky textures from NSMB2. If yes, where are they located in the RomFS (appearantly, they are not connected to/located in the model files)?
And I have another question: What does the file "dv_noise.bctex" located in the folder "romfs/Model/Distant_View"...
