Ive played homebrew games using SX OS CFW so i'm definitely entitled to a ban. I'm just questioning Nintendos legality on them going through my logs on the Switch without my permission in order for them to ban me
Not sure of the legality here with want Nintendo is doing in terms of banning users. People are turning off "share error information" yet Nintendo still have this info and are banning users. I'm no expert in this field by any means but it seems kind of dodgy. Can someone shed some light on this...
Not able to find an answer so far. I can see a lot of threads about consoles or accounts getting banned however still able to access eShop. My situation is in reverse. I can't access eShop, I get a "console is restricted message" however I can still play online .I just tested Mario kart and...
After hearing about how Nintendo online will not have full cloud backup for all games I've decided to totally abandoned Nintendo online and risk the ban. However I'm hoping there will be homebrew software for cloud based backups via Google drive or similar. Im aware of checkpoint as a local game...
Thanks OP for this thread. Hoping we can narrow down what's causing these bans soon. If there is a way to block creport in the future would that most likely stop the bans?
Appears installing .nsp is a big risk. Might hold off using these for now. Just installed SX OS on my 2nd switch. I'll fill out all the forms when i have finished installing on all 4 switches. I'll try to keep them all the same with subtle changes here and there to see if we can narrow down what...
Reading the thread it seems that tool does not work. The ncp files are unable to be read. Has anyone actually managed to get this to work? Otherwise is there any other tool that converts xci to nsp?
lol that was the reason i was looking to go with NSP, to have all my games in one place. However was trying to avoid a larger risk of a ban. Hopefully i get banned soon so it makes the choice easier :)
I see lots of people saying they will convert .xci to .nsp
Are people actually converting the files or just redownloading the .nsp version?
If converting is their any cons to do it and can someone point me in the right direction on how?
Ill do that when i get home. However i'm in Australia, would it matter? Also assume it needs to be done on the router side? So if im hotspotting or at a friends house im out of luck?
I was looking at that "do not share usage information" and im sure it has been raised before, but how is...
Ban? N
If Yes, provide proof (video preferred)
SX OS used? Y
Did you connect to the Internet with SX OS and/or to activate the license? Y
Did you play any .XCI files online with a certificate/header? N
Do you have a certificate/header ban (look for error code 2124-4025)? N
Lowest SX Version used...
cheers for the responde mate. This chainloader sounds interesting. Would this be a cold boot option? Or i'm assuming you will still need to use the jig or Auto RCM mode?
Can someone list the pro's and cons of this thing vs the SX PRO. I know this is soldered but in terms of playing backups and homebrew is their a difference? Does this have custom firmware? Is SX OS still the best custom firmware?
I seen a bunny rabbit get swept up and taken by a hawk yesterday in my back yard, it left a bunch of rabbit hair in grass. Wild to see it fly off carrying a rabbit.
The other night was watching tv in my screened in porch, and heard something walking on my porch roof, thought maybe it was a raccoon, so I grabbed my rifle and went out to look, it was just a duck, lol
