Has anyone had a Switch "heal" itself out of AutoRCM?
Haven't touched my Switch in 2 months, so I inevitably let its battery drain out.
I charged it a few days ago and when I went to pick it up today, it had booted into normal OFW.
Tried rebooting it, and it wouldn't go into RCM. Had to use a...
Back just to say that it worked.
I installed Evilnat 4.90, disabled syscalls and PSN protection (this seemed like it was giving me login issues).
I'll be staying on this CFW as I do have a few more things to fetch from PSN.
Thanks for the help!
Yep, DEX, and Evilnat's 4.84.2 Rebug mod seems to still be up to par with the latest stuff.
I do need to log in to PSN with my an account and buy stuff, I'm not familiar with how pkgi can help with that.
That sounds about what I read, but I may have misunderstood having to install 4.89 OFW instead of CFW.
I'll wait for additional confirmation like you suggested. Thanks!
Hello,
I'm running 4.84 CEX (Rebug) on my slim and I want to go online to buy some DLC from PSN that is nowhere to be found.
From the information I've gathered, I'd have to upgrade to OFW 4.89, but I'm reading conflicting stuff on either or not I'm able to downgrade back.
What would be the...
Hello, I was having this same question and found this old thread.
I have a 9.00 Pro and would like to purchase a few games on my PS4 Slim, so I could then transfer them into the Pro.
Has anything changed in this regard? Is this still not possible?
Thank you.
Would it be possible to get a No More Heroes 3 cheat to remove the timer on biker missions, or invincibility, or increase time given by hitting cars, or inflict 9999999999999999999 damage on rival cars?
Oh, I thought it had to be official because I replaced the HDD and it's giving me this screen (not my picture): https://i.redd.it/ea0mp4ngfof31.jpg
And I was planning on following this video along with other documentation, but nothing was mentioning my case:
Edit: I should've mentioned that I...
I got myself an already modded 25XX slim PS3 and want to swap out the HDD for a bigger one.
I know that doing so will ask to install the firmware from USB.
It needs to be the official one first correct?
And should it be the lowest or can I just install 4.87 since it's supported?
No More Heroes for the PS3 had three releases:
The original "Heroes Paradise" in Japan
The NA and EU version, which had a bunch of fixes and Move support
And then that version was released back in Japan as "Red Zone"
The NA and EU version had a bunch of DLC, which was sold on PSN.
But that...
Thanks for the info. Got a few follow up questions:
I only have one attempt to do this, right?
When an update is ready, does the Switch update automatically on reboot?
Should I have the jig in place just in case something fails?
Get well mate.
Is Hekate dependent of Atmosphere? Both usually have updates come out at the same time, so I wonder if Hekate won't support 12.0.0 until Atmosphere for it is out.
Oops, forgot to pull out the LAN cable off the dock and the Switch downloaded the latest firmware.
It did not update, but I'd like to get rid of the nag.
I know you can do it by going into Maintenance Mode.
But how can I do access Maintenance Mode on a Switch with AutoRCM on and Hekate?
Is there a way to keep Hekate from loading CFW sysNAND when it fails to load CFW emuNAND?
This is such a dumb thing. Now I have to restore to a clean sysNAND.
Hello, I have both OFW sysNAND and CFW emuNAND on my Switch.
OFW is used for legit online stuff while I play around with offline homebrew on CFW.
I've started having this problem where OFW keeps filling up my SD card because I have no way of forcing the console to install stuff to the system...
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
