Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

Every entry listed in the main post has an image link appended to the game text (minus a couple). Simply click on the title to see a picture of the box art (kind of surprised you didn't see that lol). Majority of the images I link to are from Amazon (primarily because they have high resolution...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

That is beside the point. Pretty much every game on a cartridge gets an update, which contains bug fixes, or a combination of that with additional contents. DLC is a thing as well. The point of physical media here is to make it possible to access the game period, with or without internet...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

Added the following game key card releases: - Minecraft Side note, the packaging image says that a 3 GB download is required for the game... There's no reason why this couldn't be a full fledged physical release, if this is anything to go by.

    Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

Reread the post, I updated it. What I said should address things better.

    Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

I should inform you that I don't just add random cheats found online often these days. Primarily because many cheats are hit or miss from my experiences. If I do, it's extremely rare, as such, I typically stick to just making them myself. Plenty of games don't have cheats, that part is true, but...

    Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

I'll just refer to the TCRF pages. Probably best you don't spam a bunch of posts here lol. Anyways, the Club Penguin debug stuff doesn't do anything except show a menu. None of the options work within the menu, so these are kind of useless.

    Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

I'll add what I can, but I have other priorities over these codes right now. So not all of these will be present in the next update.

    Hacking DeadSkullzJr's NDS(i) Cheat Databases

I already have the Burnout code, albeit modified to require button presses to activate. These club penguin ones though are not made correctly. The engine is writing two different values in the same location simultaneously, that's not good at all.

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

Hey no problem! I'll continue to do my best to keep up with it. 1785866356 I just wish the future as a whole was different. Thinking about and remembering the enjoyment I experienced with video games growing up, I never once thought the existence of video games would change like this. Certainly...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

No. The thread and the lists provided are meant to be a break down of each type of physical release. Exclusivity status is irrelevant to the cause. The lists already speak for themselves in this regard anyway, because it doesn't take a lot of effort to realize that most of the games listed exist...

Emulation support is currently not a priority. mGBA doesn't support what I have available.

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

Software updates and the ability to redownload software you have already registered / purchased under your account, prior to the end of life servicing, is one thing. But Nintendo, no matter the storefront on their respective platforms, has never allowed you to download software not registered to...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

Chips have way more flexible size options compared to an optical disc, and they don't have to change their form in any aggressive way to achieve what needs to be done. Optical discs have multiple characteristics and standardizations that determine what actually fits on a disc, even the physical...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

This isn't entirely right though. Here's a list of games with the native game data on the disc in full, created by an individual. This isn't a complete list of course, and I'm sure a lot has changed since this list too...

Nintendo Switch 2: The Current State of Physical Releases

No. I don't get how a lot of people got that idea either. Many games for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S are full on the disc. These systems pull the full game data from the disc and installs them onto the drive each respective system uses. This can be done 100%...
