    Say I hack my 3ds with NTRBootHax, then used the backup to restore it for its original purpose, to play games, but my friend wants CFW. If I don't back up the card, and I restore the card from the backup before all the games, what would it effect, and would it delete my games or other stuff?

    yes auto For both, it says, Verification success auto U Updated and recovery mode does boot, but recovery mode doesn't do anything.

    Just for clarification, when I got into this situation by trying to install CFW when A9LH was the norm, but I bricked it. Years after, my friend unbricked it with ntrboot and installed b9s.
