GitLab has taken down the Suyu Nintendo Switch emulator

I think Nintendo's real target is Citra, not Yuzu. Their legal argument has to do with TotK, but why take so long for them to sue? If they want, they could have destroyed Yuzu and Ryujinx a long time ago. The next Nintendo hardware will play host to DS and 3DS games, just like current Switch is...

Nintendo sends DMCA notices for "syspatch-updater" homebrew app by iTotalJustice

I truly believe this is caused by MIG. This cart-hack has disrupted Nintendo's retail game business. People can ripped the games and license keys then returned them back to Amazon or game stores. The duplicated keys will hurt legitimate consumers who bought these games. Nintendo can't get MIG...

The Unknowns of Emulation: A Breakdown of Yuzu V. Nintendo

Nintendo is suing not because of emulation, but because of profiting from emulation. They took down SXOS because it's charging money but never touch Atmosphere. If people are developing emulators as a hobby and not make a living out of it, Nintendo has no rights to sue. Patreon and other forms...

Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

When Tears of the Kingdom leaked last year, everyone was playing it on Ryujinx - Yuzu can't even load the game. Strangely Nintendo is using the leak of that game as an excuse to sue Yuzu.

Nintendo is targeting people who are profiting from emulator. If they kept it free, Nintendo will have no rights to sue.

Citra 3DS emulator is also shutting down development, GitHub repo taken down

They could have settle by selling Citra and Yuzu to Nintendo. The Switch 2 can use the codes to provide backward compatibility with Switch games and NSO classic games lineup for 3DS.

Can't get Mig, let's get Yuz.

Nintendo is suing the Yuzu emulator team

Ever since Nintendo won the lawsuit case against Universal Studios (regarding Donkey Kong) in the early 80s - they learnt the ways of the law and how to make use of it. This is actually a compliment to Yuzu, Nintendo didn't go after Ryujinx because it's not good enough to be a threat.

The Nintendo Switch 2 has been delayed to 2025, according to reports

Maybe Nintendo is re-designing the console - removed the cartridge slot so it's all digital.

Initial Mig Switch flashcart units now available and being tested by reviewers

Maybe after they reverse engineered the MigSwitch in China, they will turned it into one of those 100 games in one cartridge.

Initial Mig Switch flashcart units now available and being tested by reviewers

You can use the Mig to redeem gold coins at the eShop - there are people doing it already. You can then use those gold coins to buy digital games. Once Nintendo found out about this, they will definitely take action, because those gold coins are credits - they are real money that you use for...

Homebrew CitraVR emulator port for Meta Quest headsets launched

I run Citra on my computer and use Bigscreen to stream it to my Quest 2. Games run flawlessly and have nice 3d Stereoscopic effect. Running it natively in the headset will be more convenient though. Edit: The original Citra has built-in 3d output, you need to enable it in the setting.

Further information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch "Mig Switch" flashcart has been revealed

Nintendo in Japanese means 'God's will' - this company is over 100 years old, transforming from making playing cards to operating taxi and love hotel and making toys then video games. They let themselves be guided by 'God's will'. I am sure they have been waiting for a 'Bowser' who will disrupt...

Further information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch "Mig Switch" flashcart has been revealed

This is a actually a far worse disruption for Nintendo than the SXOS, it made their retail business unreliable. SXOS is offering free tickets to the show while MIG is making legit ticket holders play Russian roulette. This is Bowser's plan to take down Mushroom Kingdom.

Further information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch "Mig Switch" flashcart has been revealed

Be verycareful when buying retail games from now on. Someone can buy the game, ripped it then returned it to the store (or Amazon). If the person is playing the game online and you bought the cartridge that he ripped - both of you will be banned.

Further information about the upcoming Nintendo Switch "Mig Switch" flashcart has been revealed

History is going to repeat itself. I remember Nintendo released new 3DS firmware to stop Sky3DS from working. Then Sky3DS released new firmware to circumvent it, and Nintendo followed up with yet another new firmware, etc. It's going to be a cat and mouse game all over again.
