Hacking Is dumping eshop/cartridge games safe?

I want to start playing some of my switch games on PC. I found this guide on dumping the necessary Switch files and digital/physical titles: https://yuzu-emu.org/help/quickstart/#yuzu-quickstart-guide I haven't read it fully yet, but from what I understand this is in CFW territory (please...

Hacking "What is a legit cia?" (and other noob CIA questions ANSWERED)

I haven't updated anything in a while, so I have an old version of FBI. Problem is, I can't update it from the app because of the whole github thing. So how should I go about it? Should I uninstall my FBI, inject the latest version into H&S and reinstall? Or is there an easier way?

    Hacking Making Amiibo NTAG215s

Unfortunately I have an iPhone (it's a great phone otherwise), so that's why I was hoping the chromebook would work haha. Maybe later on I'll get a used android phone just for making tags.

    Hacking Making Amiibo NTAG215s

well I do happen to have a 2-in-1 that folds into a tablet, but yeah it's probably finicky since the play store is still in beta, let alone installing a .apk from an outside source. I was considering the N2Elite, but I could get a powersaves amiibo for $25. It's a bit annoying that it only holds...

    Hacking Making Amiibo NTAG215s

Since I believe chromebooks now have NFC and can install android apps in developer mode, do you think I'd be able to use mine by installing Tagmo? Or is there something specific about android phones?

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Alright I tried to send a PM but I guess one needs 10 posts to do that (which I don't have lol). Anyway, in the "install" folder in the starer kit, open up the .xml in textpad or some text editing software. In the part between <targets selectable="false"> and </targets>, delete what's written...

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Hey friend, sorry I took so long to see this (don't come here that often). I'm about to leave for school, but if I recall, you need to copy/paste the contents of the oot xml file into xml file of the sploitinstaller or whatever it's called. I'll double check around 2 pm PST when I get home.

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Thanks. Yeah I downloaded the starter several times but it only had ironhax, though it did have the sdmh file for the above hax. Turns out that the installer's XML file was set to only load ironhax, but I edited with the OoT ID and tried again and it worked. Not sure why I had to do it either...

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Didn't realize I had to edit the XML file to turn the ironhax installer into the oothax installer. Works now!

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Oh okay!! I'm supposed to use the oothax installer to get the right payload and not inject a save (since the correct save file is not available as of yet). Only problem now is that the homebrew starter kit doesn't seem to have oothax installer anymore (just ironhax), but I'll try to track it...

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

Thanks for the link, I read it a bit more in depth and from what I gather I need to write a save file corresponding to the N3DS 11.4 payload to the cart. However, such a file doesn't exist since the save images were last updated in January. Am I missing something? Sorry for troubling you, but I...

    Homebrew OOTHax and Firmware 11.4.0-37U

I'd like to try and do this. I'm not familiar with oothax, but I found a tutorial about installing it. However, I didn't see any step mentioning downloading a payload, so would you mind explaining how to load the 11.4 payload onto the cart? Thanks!
