'007 First Light' gets launch trailer

I was watching a friend play this on his stream tonight, I have to say the presentation is way beyond what I'd expect for a random 007 game. I'll get it when it's $5 in a year or two.

Dragon Quest 12 re-announced alongside new Dragon Quest Monsters title during 40th anniversary broadcast

I'm kinda glad most of the responses to this are cynical and negative. Dragon Quest makes more money than it deserves; riding on the coattails of its greatness from a fargone era

    Temper beasts!

The orange boi is so sick of her shit; she intrudes on him in this bed and then sprawls out like this cause she has no room. They're both so silly.

Steam Deck gets a major price bump, more than 40% increase for US buyers

The fact that they're still out of stock but they still raised the price is weird, I feel like it says more that their hand is forced than that they just want more money for it.

Pre-orders for 'Shenmue III Enhanced' announced

I'm conflicted on this. On one hand this should just be a straight patch for the original game; the NPC dialogue system was so broken that it was extremely difficult to play the game without people saying things clearly out of order. Earning money to proceed is/was extremely grindy and tedious...

ZA/UM to giveaway demo keys of its next game 'Zero Parades: For Dead Spies' ahead of Steam Next Fest

I'm a sucker for Disco Elysium art, looks like there's more of it here so I'll make an attempt to check this out.

Switch emulator Citron is being discontinued and Ryubing enters maintenance mode

Sucks that doxxing is even involved with this; I hope the dev talents can at least go into the other emu projects so we can have one or two big stable projects rather than a handful of fragmented ones. I imagine it's at least somewhat intimidating for the average person when there are so many...

A very early WIP version of Twilight Princess Decomp for PC is now playable.

Yeah I'm fine with letting this cook until it's ready. Love this game and with them being as litigation happy they are, it very well may have one chance at release as stated.

ROM Hack Super Mario Sunshine Randomizer gets v0.3.1 beta release

100% second this, it's fun for a while but at a certain point I don't even wanna pick the game back up

Things you recently bought or got

I have an iPod classic too and been thinking of modding. Which kit did you get? I'd be eager to hear how well the mods go.

Things you recently bought or got

Got this pretty nice Brother (PT-P710BT) label maker and strapped a raspberry pi to it so I can print labels over SSH or through my own webapp. Brother's software is okay but it's not as easy as loading up a webpage and typing in whatever you want on or adding graphics from literally any...

Resident Evil Showcase Jan 2026 Roundup - Exclusive figures and watches, GeForce Now and new gameplay footage

I've basically stuck my head in the ground when it comes to anything RE-related post-RE7 and I feel like totally ignoring hype/expectation/reviews have led to me having a lot more fun than heeding hypers/haters I'll play RE9 in a few years when it's on sale for 15 bucks just like the RE4...

A Link to the past in 3D?

This is honestly a legit answer tbh, it's close enough to the same game mechanically but also uniquely takes advantage of 3D with bonus mechanics. Set in the more or less the same world with totally new stuff to do, it's kind of the perfect 3D re-imagining of ALttP

Samsung Browser is now finally avaiable for the PC

I'm sure way more people than we'd ever expect would actually download and use JUST because it syncs their bookmarks

'Masters of Albion', Peter Molyneux's next 'God game', gets Early Access release date

This really seems like it's a spiritual sequel to Black and White 2, I hope they pull it off cause I really loved the first one of those at least.

Hardware SuperChis Prime: How I Fixed the SuperCard SD's Flaws on a Budget

This is super cool and I'm not judging you at all but I hate that I can so easily pick up on the AI-generated cadence of the OP.

The infamous CD-i title "Zelda's Adventure" is getting a fanmade remaster

Well at least no one sane will be able to complain about them ruining it

Oh, well if your laptop can't support 2 drives (like 1x SATA + 1x M.2 or 2x M.2) then yeah you can always just manually trade the drives out every time you wanna change OS. Hassle though. (Otherwise nah it doesn't really matter)

Do you like the Boktai GBA series?

You can actually get cheapo flash carts that have the solar sensor in them if you just wanted to play the game in its intended format. I never seriously considered it despite being a big fan of MGS and other Kojima works, seems like a probably fun gimmick for a probably not-that-fun game..
