@RippedTraces are there any plans to design and release a similar flex cable for the micro sd card FPC connector for 1st/2nd gen switches? Should be possible to do something smaller that connects directly to the test pads, 3v, and GND connections nearby.
You need to check for bridges across any components surrounding the solder points for the picofly mod. Clean up any bridges with a bit of flux and a desoldering braid/wick. I had a similar issue that came from a bridge between a couple of capacitors that were used for 3.3V and GND on my V1...
Is there any homebrew available for the Wii u to eject discs? My eject button is currently fubar but my wife didn't know and put a Redbox rental disc in it. The Wii u is hacked with Haxchi.
Any helped is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The WiFi range for the wireless card that connects to your home network already has excellent range so no need for that. Try making "wind surfers" for your antennas, they'll help with range as long at you point them at the area in which you'll be using your gamepad. Wind surfers are directional...
In the image that was provided by the author of the thread, once the board was flipped it was the one at the top right.

I made sure to follow the guide to the letter but my results were unfruitful. Like I said before though, I like the cosmetic/aesthetic of the external antennas anyway so no big loss.

You could still try reinstalling the current FW version from Nus Title Downloader/Grabber. That may fix your dashboard loading issue. Just a thought.

The current version, I think it's 5.5.3 maybe, is still exploitable and I am currently running the latest FW and have had no issues running any of the Homebrew including Wupinstaller Y Mod. You might consider updating while it is still an option before Nintendo does something to break Homebrew...
TBH I don't know, I've been using haxchi to load the Homebrew channel since I found out about it. Not needing an internet connection was a huge reason why, but the 100% launch success rate was a big influence as well. I had found a DS title for about $2.50 so I found it to be a worthwhile...
Completed my own hard mod with the external antennas using the adapters rather than going to soldering route. I didn't notice great improvement in range either but I do like the cosmetic effect of the external antennas more oddly enough.

I'm gonna buy another Series X, but can't decide if I should wait till the Xbox June event (maybe they get discounted) or just buy now. What do you guys think?
