    This guide should still work fine, so I do not need to update it. It looks layeredfs isn't working for some reason on your switch. Are you sure the layeredfs files are in place? Also, what is the exact error you are getting?

    Devmenu is irrelevant now. We can install dlc and updates through tinfoil. If you need to know why devmenu fails, you are most likely on the wrong firmware.

A little off topic, what nationality is your dad? That may sound like a weird question, but I can get a good sense of how strict they are...
