    thanks for the clarification and yes I had the DNS servers in the configuration as I explicitly only allow DNS from my Wii/WiiU to those DNS servers and block all others .. but I didnt know they may fall back to allow ... I'll remove the config for now and will see how it goes - auto-update was...

    Well my WiiU decided to upgrade to 5.5.4 for no known reason I thought it was blocking all updates ... anyhow, I installed haxchi and coldboot again which worked fine but my firmware is showing 99.999E now and I can no longer access the eshop. typically I would run NNU-patcher to do so but...

    I guess him not being a native speaker wanted to ask, why you shouldnt use converted roms: hakchi2 rc5 will convert the roms just fine - no prework needed ...

    just checked with the stock controllers - works just fine - added NBA JAM and a few beat em ups - all work fine for me - I use the US roms

    Interesting indeed but you need to take it apart if you need to rebind the controller which would put me off - also not sure if you could fit 2 inside for multiplayer sessions

    Its a childhood memory - I had pretty much any nintendo console with the exception of the WiiU and the Switch but had either to trade up or sell everything when relocating globally - this is a welcome replacement as its 'official' and thanks to Cluster allows to have all roms on official...

    did anyone have the issue yet that everything seems to work just fine - but after you shut the nesmini down and restart it next day some games no longer work and it will blackscreen and throw you back to the menu again? not sure how to troubleshoot that behaviour or is there are any logfiles...
