    That error is a luma error you could try using bootctr9 to run luma 7.1 if youre trying to get past that part. I dont think the emulator really runs that will to begin with though

    should always auto apply if you have your game loaded and hit the home button before trying to connect - you cold potentially patch the actual game or maybe luma could use layered FS to do it on the fly from the sd card with patching enabled im not really sure how that even works

    I didnt in any way mean to imply this is causing cakes not to work ive never used cakes before. It loads to where i can acess the patches but they all fail upon booting and then the infinite black screen. Thanks for the help ill attempt
