    I actually think that the issue was mainly happening when updating to 5.x firmware while connected to the doc. So maybe just a precaution just undock your switch for updates?

    Other docks can cause a brick, you're pretty much limited to only the one produced by nintendo.

    I was back in 6.1 with no problems, but when i tried updating back to 6.2 yesterday i couldnt boot. Actually what i ended up doing was restoring my backed up boot0/1 and it worked.

    Only on PC, you can play offline on consoles but will not be able to normally make a seasonal character unless you are connected to the servers (Which requires you to be on 6.2)

    I would like to note that in most cases if you havent spent any paragon points editing your paragon may cause problems. I wasn't able to get this to run on my work PC but i would suggest implementing a save backup feature in the event something goes wrong and you corrupt your file.
