I have a WD easystore which only works with beta53-alt. Any version of b52 creates a freeze while loading the cios.
Is there any chance to merge the fixes into beta53-alt as an option for those of us who who may want to stay on that version?
Troubleshooting assistance needed. After running Trinket M0 chip for a while, I am now noticing the switch is not charging.
Plugging in multiple usb c chargers shows the charging icon, but battery does not increase.
Switchboot shows charge rate around 10-20ma, but never higher. Im on...
Nope. No effect.
I have had problems with dock USB ports functioning after an install. Turned out I had a cold solder joint that was affecting the dock. After re-soldering the chip, it was fixed.

Need some guidance. I have two switches running SXOS on OFW 4.2 and CFW 8.1. I would like to play Minecraft together with ad-hoc network. When starting the games in multiplayer local mode, I cannot see the “friend’s” game.
Is there a way to get this working? I do not have the accounts for...
No luck. I can’t get the switch to register with PC in RCM mode either. I have booted into v1.2.0 then chosen “reboot (rcm)” to get to black screen.
In addition, I tried reaching RCM with jig, putting the chip into double-reset mode, and tried multiple cables. Seems like I’m locked out until I...
My trouble right now is that I can’t get switchboot drive open to update the trinket at all. My update to v1.20 was the last time I had it working.
I have followed the steps in the FAQ to open the drive, tried launching a payload or booting to CFW/OFW with no success. That’s why I’m thinking...
I’m having problems getting SWITCHBOOT drive to open now.
I have followed the FAQ steps with no success.
V1.2.0 with vol+ strap fitted. Double tap puts Trinket M0 into rapid blinking mode. “Unable to charge” message when in CFW or OFW and connecting USB to PC.
Does the group have any...
I updated to 1.20 today. Prior to update I was on 1.0.
Previously when holding vol+ my switch would auto launch payload.bin. Now when I hold vol+ it launches hekate, where I need to select the payload manually.
I would like to get back to the past behavior and not interact with hekate on...
I can confirm my problems are fixed. It was 100% bad wires. I tossed those wires out, and reinstalled. Somehow they may have gotten a small break in them that caused the odd behavior.
My dock and other devices are working perfectly again.

I went in and rechecked all solder points, reflowed them and still had the same issue (usb hubs not working when connected to switch). After no luck there I completely removed the chip and all straps, problem resolved.
I’m assuming a bad strap wire now, maybe broken, or bad solder point on the...
Downgraded to 0.9.3 and same behavior of allowing directly connected devices, but no hub connected devices. I haven’t opened it up yet to check the connections. Maybe over the weekend.
Very bizarre. Maybe the USB-C port has been damaged.

Agree. The USB strap idea is just a thought I needed to explore. I will go back and check for good solder joints as well.
Problem is happening in both OFW and CFW so it may be some kind of device hardware issue.

Sure think. I’ll need a day or so to downgrade and test it. So far I have tried multiple hubs with the same result, including the official switch dock.

I’m having some troubles with my console this weekend. I have discovered some unusual behavior with USB2.0 devices attached to USB2.0 hubs. These devices (example: Magic-NS) work properly when connected directly to the USBC port, but do not work when connected via a USB2.0 hub. Everything has...
