    If you want to be on the safe side, do it. Although the bans were because of getting online early, and not exactly because of the version. Since the leak is a cartridge turned into .cia, it's still best to use the freeshop one, though.

    The error only comes up when you try to connect to Ninty servers.

    There's this air of uncertainty, if we are to believe the emails from Ninty, it's supposedly permanent. But then again, there were some who said it was also temporary.

    Those are for the NNID ban, which I'm pretty sure no one actually got theirs banned. We got banned from using only online connections and eshop. But the NNIDs are still working.

    Yeah, if they actually are letting us off the hook for some reason in a few days, waiting isn't all that bad. And if it doesn't happen, by the time we can hope to have some more definitive solution for the bans.

    Nintendo also said they weren't permanent in some of their emails. Which means don't most likely don't even know for sure. And why were you banned in the first place? Did you contact them about it before the ban was lifted?

    So you are saying we should wait at least a month before getting desperate? xD And what ban(s) did you get? 002/022? For all we know right now, the only reason people were banned was due to going online before the release, so there really isn't any reason to be scared of using the freeshop...
