    yeah, I said before "(the select menu does not show up, every time I try to boot it, it kicks me back to the homescreen and resets.)" it's referring to when you can access the "select menu" (by holding select), and I can't even do that.

    I did try A+B+X+Y, and it didn't work :< I guess I gotta try to find one then, thanks for your help! I think part of the issue is that with SMD you can't reset it like a pokemon game, you have to go to the menu in-game and delete the save but man, that kinda sucks
