    Hardware Safer to just buy a Japanese 3DS?

    I don't know anything about hardmods & stuff regarding updating my Japanese games because my 3DS XL is a Western model. Would it be easier to just buy a console? Sure, its more expensive, but I wouldn't put up with figuring out how to modify the firmware of my console.

    I only got homebrew; no hardmod. And I can't get any of the programs to work. I would pay for a hard mod, but for some stupid reason, nobody wants to listen to me about that.

    Would it make more sense to buy a Japanese 3DS than to hardmod my 3DS XL? I'm getting sick & tired of nobody wanting to help me with installing .CIA so I'd rather just have a console for those games & get a Japanese eShop account than try to get somebody hardmod a system.

    Dang it. What it is is that I have the update to a Japanese game I got buty current firmware is 11.1.0.34U & I haven't found a program for the homebrew to actually work as far as proper installation.

    I have to ask you; I got a 3DS XL with 11.1.0.34U as the system patch. I just need to have some .CIA files installed for DLC purposes as well as to save money on foreign imports. How much would it cost to have this taken care of? I will provide the appropriate information needed.

    I think I will look into that. I have the 2.3 update .CIA for Red Cat Team but none of the methods I've tried have worked. I will probably just procure that service & have somebody else due the .CIA installing for me. I'm clueless so... any good users who have the knowhow that I can pay?

    Yeah, I'm going to be doing that. I'll see if I can use a CFW and install a DLC CIA there. Of course, my current version is 11.1.0.34U, so I don't know if I'll have to downgrade the firmware. Otherwise, I'll just buy a Japanese 3DS, create a Japanese eShop account. and save myself some hassle.
