It's really not worth it from the research I've done. It really depends on your TV and how it handles upscaling. At most this will turn a bad TV into an average one from the reviews and the testings I've seen.- Lockstar91

I'm not prepared to laydown $300 for the framemesiter. But if OSSC get the audio upgrade their talking about, I'd pay $150 and wait until 2017. Do you know where I can keep tabs and or purchase this next batch of OSSC? Also do I ask for the audio upgrade or is it preinstalled for 3rd batch...- Lockstar91

Today I drove by a 30' Sony Trinitron what was sitting on the curb in almost perfect condition (Bulk rubbish month). Using composite helps very little at all. Nothings going to make it look good on a HD screen, let alone 4K.... Rather get a CRT for $50, then bad impersonations such as emulators. Sure they are great, but they don't even compare to the actual look/feel of a console. Only reason I'd run an...- Lockstar91

Price check for Sega Genesis/Gear?
Ended up getting a Sega Genesis V2 for $50 + Shipping with 2 controllers and cables (looks brand new) on ebay. I think I got a better deal by waiting, now for the other parts :)- Lockstar91

Hmm shops also seem to have the same prices if not more over here in Australia ($300). I guess its just a waiting game then, one will pop up when you least expect it for a good price (even if its just part by part).- Lockstar91

No boxes, he just refurbished them apparently and comes with 2 year warranty... He won't budge, tried to get him down $50 and he said its firm. Just can't find any other sega's in Australia (PAL) with CD for anything under $250USD.- Lockstar91
