Hacking Installing Dash Launch (v2.22) prerequisites.

I've recently acquired a Jtag Xbox 360 and want to install Dash Launch onto the machine to run XBLA games off the stock 20GB internal HDD and boot DVD backups through it (from what I've read, it can bypass dash updates and region spoof). I have so far copied over XeXMenu to the internal HDD via...

Ah, OK. I'll install it again with the sig hash check to be safe. Thanks.

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

Did you apply the Sig Hash Check when installing IOS61 via DOP-IOS? I'm wanting make sure before I install it. Nice that it now works. EDIT: I installed it without the Sig Hash Check and it works, so I'm guessing it didn't matter.

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

Same here but yea like you said, it would be nice to have everything in working order. I think I need IOS61 for the shop channel since Dop-IOS reports that it's missing from my system, but I'm not too sure. I also might drop Preloader and try out StartPatch since the region free hacks (GC and SD...

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

I don't think it's the region-free SD card channels hack interfering because I set the hack after I had tried accessing the shop channel. But to be sure, I disabled the hack and the shop channel will still load to the system menu.

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

My photo channel works fine but my shop channel doesn't (see a few posts back). Mine goes to a black screen too but it doesn't lock up the Wii, it goes back to the system menu instead.

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

I noticed I haven't got IOS61 (according to Dop-IOS) which from what I've gathered through searching, is the required IOS for the Shop Channel. So is it OK to go ahead and install IOS61 via Dop-IOS in hope that it fixes the problem of kicking me back to the system menu? Yea, I heard running...

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

I have an issue with accessing the Shop Channel, it will load, but it will instantly restart and dump me back to the system menu. Any ideas how to remedy this? Also "Region free channels-SD card menu" in the new 4.1E hacks.ini doesn't seem to work, I've tested several US/JP games and all have...

Hacking ULTIMATE System Menu 4.0 Guide

I'm receiving the same 1036 error when it fails to install using the 4.1 Firmware-Updater. To confirm, did you simply jump to step "12) Using Dop-IOS install IOS60 v6174 with Sig Hash Check" then run the 4.1 updater again? I'm assuming this is what you meant by a "IOS60 patched", right?

Wii #0073 - Tetris Party (USA)

No, but it does have Classic Controller and Wii Balance Board support. It's strange that the Classic Controller is supported, while the NGC controller isn't. I have 3 NGC controllers which would have been perfect for multiplayer...Too bad it didn't follow Bomberman's footsteps with support for...

Hacking Ikaruga(PAL) not working on Wii with Wiikey

Yes, you need to enable the GC audio fix like the user above mentioned. After doing this, it plays fine on my PAL machine.

Wii #0606 - Worms: A Space Oddity (Europe)

The lack of an online option kills it for me and that I've heard the controls are awkward...I guess I'll stick to Open Warfare 2. =/

Wii #0559 - Balloon Pop (USA)

I found this to be pretty addictive, it's good for a budget title considering the large scale of shovelware on Wii recently. Also yes, it works fine on PAL machines. Tested with Wiikey 1.9g / 3.1 FW.

Wii #0466 - Jikkyou Powerful Pro Yakyuu Wii Ketteiban (Japan)

I don't really follow/watch baseball, but I think the games from this series are great. Hopefully this release will work on PAL machines like the last.

Wii #0455 - We Love Golf (Japan)

Ah damn. I was hoping this would have online play. I'll check it out, Camelot-developed after all. That's enough of a reason.

Wii #0453 - Shikigami No Shiro 3 (Japan)

It's 59x50MB according to the NFO, so that's roughly 3GB.

Umm are you not the individual that said Nights Journey of Dreams didn't work on PAL machines when in actual fact it did? Heh, dernettemann1983 beat me to it.

Wii #0431 - Minna de Asobou de Namco Carnival (Japan)

Why? This is just the Japanese equivalent of the USA Namco Museum Remix. The USA version worked on PAL machines also.
