Nope, you only need an android phone and a cable (that can stay in the switch case). And the majority of people have android and not iphone. So most people use a perfectly movable device to boot the switch. No point for me to use this new method..
Oh my gosh really? I always reboot to payload and poweroff from hekate. If i poweroff from atmosphere are you sure that the switch properl shut off nowadays?
Is it possible to convert a micro sd exfat to fat 32 without losing the data ? (Obviously I mean using a pc ) I mean, a copy and paste will work? Or are the files in exfat bigger than 4gb?
So it's better to have a second micro SD formatted in fat32 to run retroarch?
What precautions to run this in exfat?
Trying to search in this thread but not found, sorry
Using exfat after repetivi using of an home brew botw save manager the switch has a problem reading the sd and I have to reboot. No problems after the reboot however. Happened 2 times until now.
For these kind of question a thread already exists : https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-noob-paradise-ask-questions-here.488277/page-173#post-8234683
However yes probably , no one knows when but it's in the to do list of atmosphere in the future versions
