    i've seen this requested often so i thought i'd point it out: if you check out CTRXplorer, you'll see that any file with a name that's too long scrolls to the end when highlighted, maybe it'd be possible to use the code that d0k3 wrote for that to get a similar effect?

    Speaking of which, if they were to implement this, they could literally have CIAngel do 1 of 2 things: read a text file that contains the updater source, or they could ask the user to type a source in on the 3ds which writes it to a text file to remain permanent.     Wouldn't it not download if he didn't type it in correctly though? Or does it through the error only at the end? Maybe you could do some sort of check against wings.json to make sure it's correctly typed in?

    If it runs in ds mode, have you tried installing bluecardfix from gateway to sysnand? I've gotten my blue card to work on 9.2 o3ds which is just a flash cart so I can't imagine why this wouldn't work also. No harm in trying, right? Sent from my GT-I9505G using Tapatalk

    I don't know if it'll work on the r4, but I got my blue card working (which is pretty much the same), by installing bluecardfix and using gateways files, instead on woodr4. I can confirm that you can use the gateway kernel on the original r4 as I was playing around with my old one and it works...

    I never bothered to see how they were getting content from the CDN. It does look a lot nicer haha. My idea was to just quickly hack something together so that people could generate their own wings.json file while we wait for @cearp to release his (as I know he has other things to work on)...

    If you do change it back to L/R for changing the mode you should change region selection to Up/Down. I found changing the region to be just as annoying through the menu. Especially because when you change the region/mode it takes you to the top of the menu, rather than stick to its current...
