    Hacking Luma3DS and GBA ROMS

Did you read the github wiki? It has lots of useful informations: https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/Installation-and-Upgrade#upgrading-from-arn-43-or-older-to-luma3ds Also, like Gray_Jack mentioned, you need to change the path if you use something like CTRBoot9 or BootManager...

Hacking Cold boot disappeared after installing a theme

I told you how in the reply above :) Shorter version: install menuhax (so it works) -> boot to emuNAND -> change theme with the menu provided by nintendo -> reboot console if menuhax doesnt work again, your NANDs are linked. If menuhax still works, they're unlinked. And as far as I know it's...

Hacking Cold boot disappeared after installing a theme

If they really are linked, yeah, it would be better to unlink them. Check prior though. And else yeah, you have to install menuhax again. no biggie. The best IMO would be that you first install menuhax and then try changing the theme with the option in the menu on emuNAND, then boot into...

Hacking Cold boot disappeared after installing a theme

What kind of coldboot? A9LH or MenuHax or something else? I assume its MenuHax, if thats the case, just use any hax exploit that is possible on your currently booting sysnand to get into the homebrew menu, and start the menuhax installer again.

Homebrew A couple questions about the N3ds and emulators - CIA crash + PCSX speed

I'm using RetroArch on my 10.7 emuNAND too (sysNAND on 9.2) and it runs without (major) problems. So far for PCSX reARMed, I played Crash Bandicoot: Warped ( ~24-32 fps with Audio unsyned and audio resampler nearest, though the sound is shit then so I turn it mostly off ) Nuclear Strike ( ~27...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

The paths and names for the BIOS files are on the first post of this thread. Else.. Ehh I don't think it really gives any performance increase - BUT I heard some games need the BIOS files to run. Not all, but some. Not sure though. It doesn't hurt though to have them. That's for sure.

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Most BIOS files are copyrighted, so no download links for you from here. Though, heres a tip: Just search for psx bios files on google or the like, its rather easy to find them like that.

I don't even know who's joking anymore and who's being serious.

    [Release] BootRom Dumper (A9LH Only!)

Don't forget to mod the power supply to serve 230 volts at 10 amperes for enough overclock headroom!

Hacking What simple thing could lead to DS emulation?

I doubt it's gonna be easy either though. Especially cause I didn't do anything really hackery myself yet with the 3DS.

Hacking What simple thing could lead to DS emulation?

Hmm.. I'd give it a read then, guess I was blind when I looked over there.. ^^ And yeah.. gateway or whatever other flashcards are better and easier in some ways.. But it really would be the icing on the cake to have a software solution for this. And pretty nice to have a way to play some games...

Hacking What simple thing could lead to DS emulation?

As far as I've seen, noone knows how to yet. Yes, we basically have "full control" over the 3DS afaik, still won't help us much if we don't know how the hardware interacts with the software everywhere. Atleast I've not seen anyone admit that they know how to, or have done it already yet...

Hacking What simple thing could lead to DS emulation?

Not easy at all, mate. I'd be heavily surprised if this would be somewhere in the alpha after only 4-6 months or longer. Most likely its gonna take even longer (if its gonna be possible at all.) EDIT: I also wonder, for now, what would the difference of power requirements be between the...

Hacking What simple thing could lead to DS emulation?

What we would need is some kind of hax that sits between the game that's been launched, and the hardware, which basically "catches" the communication and redirects it. Everything after this would be ez. I'd say we should look into how HBmenu and or flashcard launchers work. Flashcard launchers...

Homebrew Is there a DS "Emulator" compatible with 3DS? (Homebrew Launcher)

Why don't we let the 3dsx homebrew slowly die out, or atleast don't let it limit us? Every thread about this has "HOMEBREW HAS NO SYSTEM ACCESS SO NO DS GAMES 4 U" but we already have A9LH and cia's on CFW and all that crap which basically have full access. And yeah, flashcards are a thing. I...

Tutorial How to compile and install arm9loaderhax

I had to download the zip 2 times, also be sure to use winrar to extract and don't copy-paste from zip into a folder, so it won't fuck up the makefiles, then just run "make" in the root folder of the sources, as in a path like "G:\Workspace\3DS\A9LH\arm9loaderhax-master\arm9loaderhax-master" And...

Tutorial How to compile and install arm9loaderhax

Compiled A9LH successfully and all that, moved the 3dsx to my ./3DS/ root and put the sd back in and ran it. the 3dsx apparently installed successfully and then shut off my 3DS. (didn't stucked or showed errors.) Now this happens: N3DS with sdcard: only blue LED flashes shortly on, then goes...

    Tutorial OTP Guide

Yeah, pretty much. I'm currently at the last steps, restoring the NAND's and then installing A9LH. Just be sure that the downgrade of the emuNAND and its "unbrick"-compiling went flawlessly, then you should be fine.
