Hacking [Tutorial] How to convert Arm9LoaderHax payloads to FIRMS

Looking at the way luma is converted to a firm, it uses the elf file and not the a9lh.bin. Try using that instead for Corbenik and other CFW's. The command would be firmtool build test.firm -e 0 -D <.elf> -C NDMA

Hacking Since I'm a scared little baby...

OP did say they don't want to update their system. Also, although luma has dropped support, there aren't any luma updates worth getting atm that don't support b9.

Hacking Since I'm a scared little baby...

There aren't currently any benefits to it. If you never plan on updating just stay with a9lh.

Homebrew [Request] Compiled linux x86_64 version of vid2jpgv

Using strace, the reason it segfaulted is because it's trying to open a temp directory that doesn't exist. You aren't supposed to run the exe. It's the Jpvg batch script that executes the exe. Try using wine to run the batch script.

Actually Cloud's limit break is Group 16, Entry 0, Name 4. Still normally at .25. Name 6 is actually something about how much Cloud's Finishing Touch(Limit break down special) changes his momentum(or something like that. I really have no idea. Cloud either launched straight up or straight down...

    Hacking Something happened. [A9LH]

Okay so I was trying to modify my home menu, but I forgot to re-encrypt the cia. Not a problem becuase I restored from a backup using A9LH, but when I got back on all my cias were not on the menu. I then went into the system settings to see what was up and found out that I was on 9.2. Also, not...

Homebrew [Stupid Question] New to the ticket installation process

I delete the DLC(with FBI), I delete the ticker(with FBI), then install the new ticket (With CIAngel), but when I go into the smash DLC shop, it still just shows the DLC I bought.

@SylverReZ, I also heard one of the Prince of Persia games was so unfinished that it required the "24/7 online" drm so a puzzle could be done and the game could be finished. And that when the Ubisoft servers were closed the (cracked) game was impossible to finish or something like that
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, That's extra scummy. Ubisoft nowadays ship out incomplete games like Skull and Bones which was being worked on for nearly a decade now.

@SylverReZ, i think they have been doing that since late 2000s

Either that or their old games were unfinished aswell but we can't notice it
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I like that games can be fixed after the fact, hate that it's being abused via beta tests... And DLC... I was a 7800 owner back in the day and loved Impossible Mission, turns out I couldn't beat it because it was actually impossible lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I never knew about it at the time but a fixed version was available but you had to mail in your broken copy lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So that version is semi rare
