The obfuscation is not to prevent piracy. That is not how it works. You don't have to reverse engineer the exploit in order to pirate. Once the system is open it is open no matter how it got that way.
Sure but it's not like they don't know about tubehax. They could only use the static IP for those systems setup to use it. Or use a static IP if all other avenues fail. It's not impossible.
