[POLL] Do you prefer physical games or digital games?

I prefer digital games for playing, but for collecting purposes I prefer physical games. I don't even consider digital games 'collectable'.

    Homebrew Question about nand extraction/corruption

@Titanica I meant B9S, I haven't paid much attention to the 3DS scene in the last few months so I forgot. @ThoD So if my last backup was post-upgrade to B9S, all I would need to do is reinstall tickets and everything should be good? I haven't really played much recently, so outside of saves...

    Homebrew Question about nand extraction/corruption

So when installing a backup on my 3DS, the application froze. Now it won't boot past A9LH. Is my best course of action to restore an old nand backup? If so, what should I do to minimize my losses? I'm guessing maybe somewhere there's a save folder I can take and keep for when I restore the old...

    Homebrew Changing system font?

I believe it's software that lets you download from Nintendo's servers. Personally, I got the default font file from a thread on that forum.

Homebrew having 2 micro sd cards

Games are (usually) installed on the SD. Just copy everything from the first SD card to the other and you'll be done. As long as you're not using an emunand. Edit: Misread Yeah you should just get a 64gb,that would be a lot simpler.

Homebrew OCDM - Mario Maker 3DS course manager

I used the version from TitleDB before I knew there was a malware version. It works fine for me, not sure what version it is though.

Not if you're willing to play on older versions.

    games for bad pcs

Older Source games should for the most part run OK. Anyway I'll just recommend Terraria and Spelunky. They are both fantastic low-spec games. They are also very cheap and highly rated.

What gaming headsets do you guys use for online play?

I use a Razer Kraken 7.1, and while I do recommend it as a gaming headset, I don't overall recommend gaming headsets in general. As someone else said, but regular headphones and an external mic. Also don't look for 7.1 features in a headset because it's useless as you can do that with windows 10...

Can tablets take the same wear and tear with emulators

Well there aren't any moving parts so I don't think it would do that much. All I would watch out for is it draining the battery and perhaps overheating depending on what you're doing. I'm not sure there would be much of a difference in the wear 'n tear between those and tablets though, besides...

Gaming Steam Sales : Game you would recommend to others

Not sure how much it's on sale for but Spelunky is one of those games that looks like an okay/boring game at first glance, but is actually very fun to play. My first playthrough I thought the game was pretty okay, but wow I got sucked into playing it more and more. Gotta get to that next area! I...

Homebrew [Discontinued] TWLoader - CTR-mode NDS app

I'm trying to launch Fire Emblem: Shin Monshō no Nazo: Hikari to Kage no Eiyū from slot 1 (actual cart) but I keep getting white screens. Shouldn't slot 1 always work?

Random question: Any progress on any 3DS cores in the past half year? Anything after the update where they made rewind automatically disabled.

Comment by 'sniper_x002' in 'This is the reason why you shouldn't NEVER lend a console to a friend.'

Good ol' Kevin. Jokes aside I'd make him pay for repairs, even if it was his brother that did the damage, it was your friends full responsibility. Any good friend should pay up, especially since I don't think it would cost that much (even NDS's near me are just a 1000 yen)

Gaming [?] Advice for the screen on this GBA SP?

So I got it (painfully - I really need a triwing screwdriver) apart. It appears the damage is done straight into the LCD, I was able to get the red Gameboy Advanced Lens thing off no problem, but there's still damage underneath it. I know I can find lenses for gameboy advance' that are glass but...

Gaming [?] Advice for the screen on this GBA SP?

You think it's the lens? Hopefuly. I should find out soon once I open it up, I'm just having some trouble finding a tool that can do so. Best case scenario it's just dirty so I can clean it up, otherwise I'll probably swap it out for a good one from one of my other GBA's temporarily (I don't...
