Hi guys, a little confused about certain points.
1) So do I scan the QR codes with FBI, and that's all I need to install?
2) Is this safe (Can I brick myself because it's unstable and a .n3ds refused to boot?)
3) I understand it's a front-end, so will I need to install nds-bootstrap first?

Hi everyone, nice to see that the homebrew community is very much still thriving. The last time I was here downgrading was both a mandatory and risky process accompanying the CFW installation process.
Looking over a certain open source guide, it seems as though it isn't. Would this be true...
Reading the documentation regarding the update, it constantly mentions unauthorized modifications and the like, and states that further modification will render the system unplayable...?? Anyone know if it removed legit CIAs? Thanks in advance.
Yeah definitely. I've seen numerous individuals hard brick with safesysupdater but that's the nature of the exploit. My girlfriend successfully dissuaded me from downgrading before since she doesn't want to see me brick.
Anyways, her and I are both on 10.3 with menuhax 2.1. Many people have...
Thanks for the response. I definitely am considering downgrading once they patch the eshop spoof, however I am more interested about whether or not 10.4 will brick me because of menuhax. Worried about it honestly.
Is this legitimately happening soon? Does it require their flash cart? Idk. I read about someone bricking with safe sysupdater so that's pretty worrisome. Also read about people constantly soft bricking to a point in which they gave up.
Hey guys, my N3DS XL is currently on 10.3 sysnand. I never downgraded as I didn't feel like plunging in the end. However, I did take advantage of homebrew and legit CIAS on 10.3. Will legit cias function as regular games on 10.4? Also, will the menuhax theme softbrick my n3ds if i update? Thanks...
10.4? Anyone know if the legit cias work with 10.4 after being installed on 10.3? Also will I brick if I update my N3DS XL with menuhax installed on 10-3? Thanks in advance.
Strongly doubt this is the case for most people, although I am glad you discerned a method that works out for you! Fact of the matter is that NASA utilizes a relatively unstable exploit, thereby giving different systems different results. Definitely a prodigious improvement over the seemingly...
As stated in the OP, the app automatically boots in "uninstall" mode where you can uninstall aspects of the file system, such as installed games. However, I am pretty sure you can delete them as regular games as well.
EDIT: Whoops, misread your intention. thanks spacebound.
now here's the kicker...did you also manage to update the CIA? For example, I imagine Super Smash Bros needs an update..but a lot of people are out of region.
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
