Homebrew All Liberto emulators crash while trying to load .rpx files

In fact, people should be using the cores on the WiiUBru appstore, and only use newer/nightly cores to test if they work. All the cores on WiiUBru should be working.

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

All the ones on the appstore are the latest versions that have new features and work, except for ones that haven't worked forever, like the quake one. Why would you continue to keep updating the Wii U cores when not one new thing has been added to the Wii U versions? The newer versions would...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

No, why would the appstore be blocked? Plus, you don't even have to use HBAS to actually download them, you can follow these simple steps too: 1. Go to http://wiiubru.com/appstore/#/category/emulators on your PC 2. Transfer files to SD card 3. Profit!

There was a concept one made, it was ULTRA, ULTRA, ULTRA slow, not even worth it, and abandoned.

You must use a CFW, either the one in Haxchi, or by loading Mocha, in order to use the faster FAT library. You should be using the cores on the appstore if you want the best compatibility. The newest cores are not always the best, and may have problems.

Homebrew Official libiosuhax - PPC IPC library for communication to /dev/iosuhax

I'm glad to learn I'm not the only one ... I have a few homebrew projects I haven't bothered releasing, cause I didn't feel like making it work with the MCP hooks in Haxchi/CBHC.

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

No, I'm not really happy with it, and it's basically a built-in forwarder, but the rpx isn't on your SD card, and isn't a "real" channel, because the Retroarch build system doesn't create rpx files that can be used as stand alone yet. Even if you created all the files needed to make a channel...

    Homebrew Official Retroarch WiiU (wip.)

The one I made is basically a forwarder, but the rpx isn't on the SD card, it's embedded in the installation. Any that aren't forwarders will ALL crash on exit. This is one aspect of Retroarch I've been trying to fix, as none of them support using the HOME button to exit to the System Menu...

Homebrew The Wii U Homebrew Request Thread

Actually, it would take a few hours. The hardest part would be making the visuals. I could make a plain audio player in about an hour or so. It's simple using a HBL app template.

Homebrew The Wii U Homebrew Request Thread

Easy-ish LOL But seriously, an audio player is way easier than a video player. And for visuals, that would be the only "difficult" part.

Homebrew Official [Release] SaveMii - Wii U/vWii savefile manager

The problems with Haxchi/CBHC, is that those use MCP hooks in the CFW, which is more difficult to program around. Hence the reason there are some homebrew apps I haven't even bothered releasing, because it would have the same issues as this app.

If you don't have a keyboard, and that's your problem, like the instructions in the thread for it point out, you can open the OSK by pressing the PLUS button too.

Homebrew So what's the deal with Wii U homebrew?

Also, it's very easy to open up a browser window from homebrew, and the link can be an mp4 file, so a very easy video player until an actual one can be made. I've created and shared a browser test app that would do it, and I've also put this functionality in several of my apps. The functions...

Homebrew So what's the deal with Wii U homebrew?

Not making a media player is a matter of time. I can "easily" make one, the problem is my time. If certain groups would have released their exploits way earlier, back when I actually had more time and when a certain personal problem wasn't present, well, things may have turned out differently...
