    if you're using 0.9 you need to create an .ini file with the proper configuration and put it inside the controllers folder if you switch to 0.2 everything will be fine in the default configuration

    the console will download the update, but won't update itself if you disable standby functions in the settings menu. if it prompts you to update, just shut it down and turn it back on and the nag will go away.

    i did run mocha before running wup installer and there were indeed some missing files from the archive that i ended up downloading after hitting the download button a second time, therefore the error had nothing to do with sigpatches i got an error telling me i had a corrupt sd card too once...
