    Homebrew [Release] RTCChanger NDS

Keeping time in sync while editing only the Date is not worth. Whenever you edit the RTC, you must set the entire register file at once, so it will always have a minor de-sync of a few seconds. It will create too much sync issues, like time rollover when 59 minutes, and even day rollover, then...

    RTCChanger NDS 1.2.0

This tool changes the Nintendo DS hardware RTC without modifying the "RTC Offset" data in the firmware, so games cannot detect time changes: no trigger for "anti-time travel" feature that blocks in-game time events for 24h (eg. Pokemon games). The "GBA rtcread" tool was used as base code for...

    Homebrew [Release] RTCChanger NDS

I know, I "imported" the bug from the other tool code that had the nice clock console GUI. As I never changed the clock in Feb 29, never found it on the other tool, which I used A LOT for changing the GBA cart RTC. Edit: Bug was fixed, and new version is available in first post.

    Homebrew [Release] RTCChanger NDS

I saw your post when I was searching about. Just FYI, in case you wanna try other apps, the inter-CPU communication is done through a special hardware that arbitrates the buses with interruptions, so you pass messages with content or addresses to data that will become visible to the other side...

    Homebrew [Release] RTCChanger NDS

It's been a while that I have been searching for a tool that could change the NDS hardware RTC, without triggering the "anti-time travel" feature that blocks in-game time events for 24h (eg. Pokemon games), but never found one. So I decided to create one myself. I've used the "GBA rtcread" tool...

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

Hey @Robz8 , do you know of any homebrew for NDS that allows modifying the raw RTC of the NDS hardware without triggering the "anti-time travel" feature that locks time events in game for 24h? (eg. Pokemon Diamond/Pearl) Anyway I think that could be an interesting feature for TWiLightMenu++

    Homebrew 3DS RTC Help

Yes, it's normal. The default RTC date is 2000-01-01 12:00 AM When the 3DS leaves the factory, the RTC chip has the default date set, and starts running from there. The date and time that you set in the Settings app is actually an offset from the RTC. This way games can detect whenever the clock...

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

@Veund the Beta4 works perfectly! Good work! Just to keep it clear for everyone, the auto popup toggle is buttons Up + L

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

Since it's impossible to have all 3 overlays auto popup at the same time, I would go with a single toggle for auto popup. Chances are that the user will enable auto popup during a specific times, but not all at the same time. (ie. reseting for shiny starters; or soft resetting a static...

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

I confirm that Yellow is fixed, and Gold is OK. Unfortunately those are the only games that I own, so I can't test other versions. As a final suggestion from me: to keep consistent between all versions, the GS versions should not auto open overlay in Party screen, as we can manually open in...

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

Just notice that the dafault now is auto disabled for battles. If you would like to keep default as auto enabled, I see no problems. Also, did this version breaks compatibility with RBY versions? Tested for Yellow too and no overlay appears.

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

No problem in auto-popup, if you let us disable right after it appears. I just would like to be able to disable the Wild Pokemon popup once the battle starts. It will appears when battle starts, then I press L to disable it and continue the battle normally, without frame rate delays. I will not...

ROM Hack [Release] Gen 1 Pokemon VC wild encounter DV NTR Overlay

Actually, not sure if this was this way before, but I couldn't disable the popups manually. Pressing L does not disable the popup during battle, which makes pretty annoying playing the full game with the plugin. I remember playing Yellow version and I could totally control when to enable/disable...

Hacking How to modify the AGB_FIRM save RTC data?

So, Aurora Wright discovered that the AGB_FIRM does support the save types Flash1M+RTC, allowing to inject games with those save types without patchings. Just need to adjust the footer with correct data (more information...

ROM Hack [Release] Ultimate GBA VC Injector for 3DS

You are correct, the slot-2 emulation would be possible when using nds-bootstrap, and I'm sure this will be achieved one day. What you should not expect is that nds-bootstrap access the save file from your injected GBA title. This will be very hard to accomplish.

ROM Hack [Release] Ultimate GBA VC Injector for 3DS

That would need a rewrite of the AGB_FIRM. Probably doable, but way too much work, unfortunately :(

Homebrew UPDATE: Regarding the recent 3DS banwave

I would recommend you deleting all your Miis, or at least disable the sharing information in friend list. I still suspect Friend title sharing as one big culprist.
