I'm talking about rebuilding the nand with the keys from the new switch. Then updating the new switch to 6.2. Then rebuild only the prodinfo partition with the keys form the old switch and try to boot firmware 6.2 on the old switch that way.
But it seems it would not make a difference anyway as...
If there was a possibility to check the nand with firmware 6.2 (as I have 8 fuses burnt) I could at least write that off of being the problem.
It would still not do anything about memloader not working. I get the feeling this board has had it days.
I actually had a quick question regarding the nand rebuild. I've rebuilt it to 6.1 through the use of another switch. I would actually like to update the firmware to 6.2 as that is what was on the switch to begin with. Would it be possible to modify the prodinfo partition to work on another...
I can get the TSEC keys. Everything works in RCM aside from memloader hanging.
I have to say though before this happend I was messing around with the docking station and different usb c chargers. Maybe that has caused some damage on the usb lines. The usb c port is fine and never had any problems.
Damn. Mine hangs at mtc in memloader as well. Chances are it is the ram then.
I'll try a reflow and see if it helps any. If not i'll just use the board for spare parts.
EDIT: reflowed the ram, still same problem
What I find odd that if it is a firmware issue the nintendo logo or the switch logo should pop up and freeze there. If neither of those are showing up as far as I know it is a hardware issue. I've been multimetering the f**k out of this things and there is nothing I can find that is irregular
I also have the exact same problem with one of my switches. I did a nand swap on another switch to restore the firmware through memloader which worked fine. But the switch still does not want to boot.
Anyone make any progress on this? I replaced the BQ24193 as well and it made no differrence.
Ok that's great so I know it has nothing to do with that.
How the problem originated was when I had a trinket modchip installed. It never had any issues and then suddenly one day it didn't boot anymore. This was the same day I was messing with the motherboard and the dock. Hence why I thought...
Bump. Anyone have any idea's to fix this issue? If a Switch doesn't boot anything (no switch logo, no nintendo logo) what could be the cause of the problem.
RCM mode works but can't boot any cfw nor can I boot horizon like normal.
I was doing some tests on my motherboard and accidently attached the motherboard the other way round in the dock. Just the mainboard stripped from the Switch unit itself.
Since then it can't load into horizon. Access to the nand via RCM still works. But everytime I tried to boot directly into...
Atmosphere 0.8.2 firmware 6.2
Payload injected trough trinket modchip with auto double strap for direct RCM boot.
The modchip functions properly. I boot it give the Hekate menu. I can read from the nand, write to it successfully as well. I can't boot into horizon OS in normal mode. Can't boot...
Hi Guys,
I'm having a similar problem.
NXBOOT loaded firmware from eMMC
Fatal error SMMU Failed to enable SMMU.
This just randomly happened. It worked this afternoon but no it decided to give me this error. I also can't get into stock firmware. Which is strange because that means somethings...
