    If there's not a control scheme option then you're stuck. Dragon Quest is a Japanese game and like sansnumen said a lot of Japanese games use O for confirm and X for cancel. You'll get used to it the more you play.

    You do not need Windows 8.1. I installed Windows 10 from an installation of Windows 8 with only the security updates installed.

    My point is that you're saying that it is impossible to die and come back to life, anyone with any medical knowledge will tell you otherwise. Some people believe that they are visited by the ghosts of their beloved animals, so I'd imagine so.
